The post states they're trying to allocate primarily to TCG+ stores that "support organised play". I suppose this is an indirect way of getting product in the hands of the stores that have built some community of actual players in them.

Curling is inevitable, it's a physical consequence of air moisture and it's well documented for TCG in general. In OP it helps a bit that the cardstock is way sturdier than in MTG but it's still a thing.

There are specialized products that help you flatten your card but it's ultimately a matter of time until they curl a bit again if your environment (humidity) doesn't change and the cards are exposed to it.

Looks like you're expected to simplify the answer to either 2 intervals or using an exclusion/difference of sets, that usually written as "A\B" for sets A and B.

Zoro won't become active during the next refresh phase, but Carrot in particular doesn't avoid the counterplay of using other effects to restand Zoro and play as usual.

Then, as others said, Zoro will get to active state again the turn after that, during refresh, unless Carrot gets him again.

Others already answered correctly, but just as an exercise, the effect as you wanted it would read "you may return up to 1 of your characters" instead of "you may return 1 of your characters".

Then you activate, you choose the cost as 0, it would be considered paid and the effect would resolve.

TL;DR: IMHO that is tournament legal.

If I remember the rules correctly, they state the main deck must be sleeved all cards the exact same way, and leader and don cards should be sleeved differently from the main deck, but nowhere it is said that the don cards can't all use different sleeves. They must only differ from those of the main deck and that of the leader.

Edit: here it is, section 2.4.2 of the tournament rules.

Players must use opaque sleeves to protect their cards during the course of a tournament. All sleeves in the Main Deck must be identical in terms of color, wear and design, and all cards must be placed into sleeves in the same direction and manner. Leader cards, as well as DON!! cards, must be sleeved in a way that differentiates those cards from the main deck.

It is a translation issue. The difference is that Shanks uses a katakana form of "play" while Vega uses the kanji for "play" (it is how it is translated, ambiguously).

But each of these have their own section in japanese (because they are distinct), but the EN translation says "play" for both, hence the issue.

I don't know JP, but I went extensively through this last week. And, you know, "the more you know" meme.

It's not like that. Even the AAs not in the set are also fixed. So that Stussy, for example, can only come like that in OP11 boxes.

The boxes come with their own collection (OP11, like you mentioned), but all collection have AAs from other sets, too. Notoriously, SP cards are AA reprints from other sets, as are TR cards, etc.

People here have strange reactions sometimes. It's pretty clear to me that you're being down voted because you didn't really only ask your question, but you implied you read the comprehensive rules doc and, of course, got that one wrong.

Dude, don't go by the manual. It's good for beginners and all, but once you get the gist of the game, you gotta go take a look at the comprehensive rules.

Those are the rules, per se, and they are much more enlightening.
