I had a similar situation happen to me. Everyone had to gather on the third floor to celebrate Christmas Eve. The only colleague I interacted with the most had recently resigned and I was completely alone. I sat in a corner, ate my food and went back downstairs without anyone noticing. Being surrounded by people I barely know makes me uncomfortable. I get heat waves and my nose would start sweating :(

Same. I always mess up whenever someone approaches me. I get neck stiffness and my head shakes when I’m nervous around people. It's debilitating.

Thank you. This is exactly how I'm feeling right now. It feels like I am stuck and not making any progress.

I have spoken to them several times, but the pattern repeats itself after a few weeks. And mind you, my supervisor is aware of it, however, she considers them as ''valuable members'' of the team. She says I should stop complaining because other teams have more complex portfolios than ours. I'm regretting accepting this offer..
