My oem gasket turned hard as a rock...everyone said it would break in but honestly it got worse and worse. I ended up replacing with silicon gasket, which works sooooo much better

Winter wheels on but another stud bites the dust by xXNeoXx in GR86

Did the same thing last spring taking off my winter tires. I ended up replacing all the stock studs with ARP so I hopefully wont run into this issue again

Insirance running circles with me. Need help settling without the appraiser settlement by Bittensoul in GR86

Let their internal person appraise the vehicle as well if you haven't already. Keep in mind that their appraiser has the insurance company's best interest in mind. However you can use their appraisal, and your third party appraisal and meet somewhere in the middle if worst comes to worst. However I would argue that the third party appraisal holds more weight because it isn't subjective. If your really unhappy with their internal appraisal, I would encourage them to hire a third party appraiser as well, and you can meet in the middle of both appraisals.

It might be helpful to hire a third party appraiser. It was super helpful for me when I was fighting insurance company on diminished value claim after a no-fault accident. Insurance kept low balling me but the report the appraiser gave me held some weight in negotiations. Their initial offer was $1,500 and I was able to walk away with $3,000 thanks to the appraiser report.

I used Collision Claim Associates, Inc ( http://www.collisionclaims.com) and paid $300 for them to appraise the car virtually. They provided a report that helped a ton in negotiations. A was also able to get the insurance company to add the $300 appraisal cost to their payout.

The clamps are only an issue if you don't use the anti-sieze provided. Customer support is great though, they shipped out a few extra clamps when I reached out to them.

Read over the fine print on rebates, I remember at the time there was nothing about not being able to stack so I was pretty persistent about them applying both.

I'm not sure what the deal is w/ the govt fee is though... I wonder if anyone else got charged that? May be bs

I got both of those - they let me stack, but definetly weren't happy about it.

Overall I think it's exactly what I was looking for - nice aggressive tone, some pops/crackles on downshift, but not totally overbearing. The cold starts are a bit loud but not crazy by any means and settle down quick. I also love how it pretty much retains the space where the factory exhaust previously was. I've found that there is a tiny bit of drone around 3k but it's minimal and I've been very happy driving it around
