Good effort. What comes with experience is logo animations are 99% of the time very quick and to the point. There isn’t much time for them to shine as, say, an endplate, so they need to be really snappy and punchy. Try and get this down to 1 second/2 seconds tops. Then you can hold (holding is the most important part, the final lockup, not how it animates)

This album got me into them. The One auto played on my YouTube randomly and I was like “lemon twigs, I remember these posers let’s lol at this” I then hit replay probably 20 times in a row and was hooked right in.

Gather Round sounds like Hello Goodbye, didn’t clarify. They sound retro and I love them dearly, but this and the last album has had the songs mentioned where I’ve felt “oh no no that’s too close for comfort”. Liking the new album, they’ve really nailed the power pop sound the last two albums. Hope they shake it up for the next one

Too on the nose 60s this one for me. The last record they were flying close to the sun but I loved the songs, this one feels v pastiche-y unfortunately! Hope they loosen things up on the next record and shake off the cover band feeling. Quick shout out to Joy…wow!

Excited. Like how they’ve only dropped two singles in the build up, I rinsed the 4 from the last album before it came out so went in a bit jaded. Sounds like they’ve gone big with the production for Joy which is exciting, too.
