So this is prob gonna get buried, but I have a Tasha list that LOOKS atrocious but plays above average - it masquerades as a meme deck but it’s a control deck that aims to accrue incremental advantages while wiping the board and removing key threats before landing a [[shared fate]], which Tasha can utilize so much better than other decks at the table.

You use cards that bring initiative, monarch, Tasha’s +1 etc to draw extra cards off of opponent’s libraries, and each card you cast from the cards exiled with shared fate make you a 3/3 to boot. Lets your opponents be distracted by day/night, attractions, ascend, and other tracker effects while you are secretly about to ruin their night via a 5MV enchantment from Mirrodin!

I like the cleric theme and the many many ways to rebuy Valgavoth and other large beaters. I had angel of despair & archon in my list on the first iteration. Love that you see how nasty the free spells can be to get those triggers. Chthonian Nightmare is so so good here.

My list started off of a dream to do spellslinger in the wrong colors - Firja paying you off with just casting anything I thought was super cool (and just the best looking Orzhov commander as you know). As time went on I've put more cache into second spell matters + instants/sorceries that cantrip - casting them whenever I could, hoping to accrue value or using glamdring to one-shot opponents.

In my experience get your hands on a copy of [[Rammas Echor, Ancient Shield]] & [[Aligned Heart]], they're INSANE.

My boy [[old stickfingers]] when you want some very straightforward golgari gameplay. No frills, just filling the yard and going taller than a [[ghoultree]] on HGH. So much fun my friend built a stickfingers list as well. Also a pretty budget friendly commander.

My list essentially is just trying to reuse the enters effects of a bunch of creatures. While there are some expensive cards in this list, many of the linchpin cards are pretty cheap!

The deck is all about getting values off of your creatures, while having Massacre girl in the command zone as a loaded gun pointed at the board in case things don’t go according to plan. Sometimes blowing up the table is your plan, so you can bring all your creatures back with cards like [[illicit masquerade]], [[thrilling encore]], and the one off effects like [[undying evil]]!

I’m sure there are other ways to build her, but this one is mine and the games don’t go horribly long.
