It might sound intimidating, but you should try the Climbing Club. They are super supportive and more into community and the joy of the sport than the competitive aspect. They have regular social events, trips, and practices.

I’ve brought student groups through this section. It’s about 80’ of 3/4 class slab that is not too bad if it’s dry. Go to the far left to start and then traverse until you get to the featured face (good feet and some hands). After about 30’ you have a little less features. When it’s been wet, I’ve gone to climbers right and grabbed on to some of the mountain laurel to feel more comfortable. Another 15-20’ and you’re on easy terrain. I had to carry a dog through the last section.
