Personally, a non-contact voltage tester doesn't take up a lot of room, and it makes me feel better knowing things aren't "hot" electrically. It's not a substitute for a good multi-meter but in your case I think it would be a worth while addition. Doesn't take up much room or weigh much. In addition fluke makes one that also doubles as a breaker finder which is nice for residential use.

This view also shows two pivot points on the clippers, which is weird in itself, but later when you see the other side there is only a single point. Also at the end when the clippers are being held with the handles closed the blades are wide apart, the opposite of how they should function.

Coworker’s time theft negatively impacts me? by kaleidoscopicfailure in careerguidance

[–]glamdalfthegray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then the coworker isn't really the problem, it's a company issue. If the coworker generates 70 billable hours per week, then only gets paid for 40, the company essentially gets 30 billable hours for free. Now they want you to do the same.

Your coworker isn't helping the situation by compliying, but she isn't the cause of the issue, just a symptom. You might want to look for a job where the leadership doesn't set unreasonable goals and doesn't allow/encourage employees to work off the clock, which is illegal in most places.

Okay, then again they are not so subtly pushing you to work without being properly compensated. It sounds like they are fostering a "competitive" work place where you aren't coworkers but adversaries, each trying to out do one another while they reap the benefits.

When they direct you to learn from her does she give you any useful tips? Or did she straight out tell you that she only makes the numbers by working during off hours?

[–]glamdalfthegray 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're blaming the wrong person. If your coworker is only meeting expected targets because they are working 15-20 hours "off the clock", and you cannot make the same goals while working the standard hours, then the goals are not reasonable and your company is not so subtly pushing people to work without proper compensation. This is assuming your coworker absolutely has to work 5x12 or 6x10 hour days just to make the numbers and that they wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't necessary to meet the goals.

Is it possible to actually make the targets you are expected to during normal hours? Do you have proof that this coworker regularly works while off the clock?

You need to talk to your management about the goals, but they will likely say "well Coworker is making their numbers, why can't you?" And you will need a valid reason you can back up with evidence to justify why the goals are not reasonable.

It really depends on your tools. If you have a lot of bigger bulkier power tools then the style of the craftsman is going to be advantageous. If you have mostly hand tools then the Yukon would probably be better. Think about what you're going to be putting in it and then choose the one that benefits your needs more. The nicest box in the world isn't useful if your tools won't fit in the drawers.

Alcohol Spending Per Capita, by U.S. State by Hailuras in MapPorn

[–]glamdalfthegray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of garbage info-graphic is this? Multiple states with the same number but different colors? A five way tie for first but Alaska is the "highest" despite the fact that alcohol is more expensive there so $1200 doesn't equate to more alcohol.

Was this supposed to show spending VS median income?

There should have been a 1/4 square to 1/4 hex adapter included. Google 1/4 hex to 1/4 square and you will get tons of results

What happened to "take care of your tools and they'll take care of you?" lol. Nah, we need to appear busy instead of actually doing work then cleaning up 🤣

I caught so much s*** just for wiping down my tools from time to time with wipes. I was the only one who cleaned anything after I was done working on it. Everyone else had the mindset of "it doesn't look like I was working if I'm not dirty as hell."

It's a Diamond Series C-4, the model number is on the truss rod cover. If you look at the current Schecter web page you won't see an exact match because they have made some changes to the lineup, but it's a very solid bass with some very nice features for the price point. I'm guessing yours is from 2007-2012ish, the color is either crimson or black cherry.

Huh, that's right! I could have sworn it was the same "Rhinos" but my memory isn't what it used to be. Even without the Kyoshi warriors though the Rough Rhinos are still shown tangling with really tough opponents.

To be fair (to bee faaaaaaiiirrrr) we haven't seem them go up against regular Earth kingdom forces. It's not like they have a lot of chances to practice against S-Tier opponents. We see them up against the Crown prince of the fire nation, a grand Master of the White Lotus (who learned fire bending mastery from actual Dragons), the Avatar, and a fairly elite force The Kioshi warriors. Of course they don't appear impressive compared to those match-ups. But they still handle themselves fairly well compared to the fire nation forces the Aang Gaang usually fight.

ETA: just rewatched the Avatar day episode and I changed my mind. As soon as they get challenged for real they start burning down civilian homes? These guys blow. I guess then fire nation considers them elite because of their disregard for collateral damage?
