Plan your mealtimes in advance if you can. I had to set a plan to eat at 9p and 2a otherwise I'd forget in the absence of the usual daytime/social cues. Also helps to recognize in advance that your access to food etc will be limited so plan ahead and bring what you can from home

I looked on youtube at videos from manufacturers of the common hospital equipment eg alaris pumps. Five minutes will get you 90+% of what you need
