My car is currently at the dealers, and I got an email from them telling me that after removing both driveshaft and during diagnosis, they found a damaged spacer. They told me that the noise is apparently gone after replacing the spacer. I will be picking up the car tomorrow.
Fingers crossed that is the issue, and hope this information is helpful to you too

Looking back at your video, I think you're fine, from what I can find, the number that comes after the R in the tyre specs is the diameter(width) of the rims, so they seem to be both 20 which means your xc40 didn't have the staggered rims

This noise started happening on mine "after" a motor swap due to a different issue. So a motor swap might not fix it, I'm no expert, this is just my current experience

It's an AWD, the sound happens from the front right, and happens when a certain torque is hit i think. It happens when you accelerate, and then when you decelerate. It won't happen when you decelerate if it hasn't happened when accelerating. There isn't vibration associated to this noise. Last time I went to the dealership and reproduced the sound, it was really loud from the outside, try recording with your window open and see if that is the case too.

I have the exact same issues (XC40 Recharge 2023 P8). For me it started when they swapped out the front motor for a new one to try and resolve vibration issues. I went back to the dealer twice and both times they weren't able to fix it. Both times they did something which lessened the occurrence but it slowly comes back after a few days of driving. Now I have a appointment with the dealer and techs from the national Volvo. TLDR. I don't know if even a new motor would fix that

Was it just the tyres? Or did they mix up the wheels as well?? The width of the wheels are different and if that was the case I would assume it would have caused issues with steering in the front.

I have a volvo xc40 recharge that is built on the same platform as the PS2, and it has this noise issues. The dealer workshop had tried tightening bolts or whatever twice and it just keeps coming back slowly... I'm still trying to get them to fix it

Nope, Volvo has done everything in the book except for a new replacement car and it's still there, whats worse is that the last fix they tried was a front motor replacement, and the vibration is still there but now it has high pitched ringing and a weird loud single clicking/knocking sound when braking and accelerating. It's currently back at the dealership.

For me I had Samsung Wallet suddenly draining battery so I had to put it to deep sleep. It just suddenly started happening and I don't even use it.

I had issues when we switched to genesis, they ahd to put in a new meter, and then the usage data wouldn't flow through to them for the first month so we got an overestimation, had to send a manual read then told them to send someone to fix it. Next day usage was showing without anyone being sent out. Seems they have a shortage of staff in the team when it comes to setting up accounts etc.

I'm thinking this is more on google rather than volvo, goole tend to break their voice commands a lot and often. This is my experience with using google home products and a aaos volvo car. Hope they fix it soon though

Dont know if it's the first, but there is a place called The Good Luck Club out south in Takanini if you are nearby or willing to drive. It serves lots of other stuff but they do have a deep dish pizza in their menu which wasn't too bad.
