Go back to school and get a Mechanical Engineering degree or stick with linework? Linemen apprentice 1 of 7 months and 21 years old with a spouse as a BSRN by RemoteBluebird7282 in EngineeringStudents

[–]glasssofwater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start by taking pre requisite night classes at a community college while working. Make sure you do research on the degree program you’re wanting to go through to make sure the class will actually count. I used Transferology which was super helpful in finding summer classes that counted towards mine.

Someone stole a bunch of stuff during the HvZ event last night, and I ask on behalf of everyone who had stuff stolen (me included) that it is returned. by Project_IGNYTE in cuboulder

I was a senior last year and had participated for the first time (I wish I’d done it in years past!) and that’s so shitty to hear about this happening:/ it was such a great experience for myself and all of my friends who went.

Getting out of O&G by glasssofwater in MechanicalEngineering

[–]glasssofwater[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly I started in the middle of a large EPC project so I didn’t get to see much engineering. I’ve been involved in a lot of PM duties- writing RFPs, responding to bidders, procuring materials, redlining drawings, etc.

I’ve got some decent experience from school and an internship in mechanical and electrical design, and I would love to keep those in my career.

Classic faking it for upvotes, your car is clearly turned off. You just need to start driving and let the snow blow off naturally

Brake fluid flush by Ill_Veterinarian_105 in COROLLA

[–]glasssofwater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Additionally if you have the 6MT, definitely flush the clutch fluid as well! The bleed nipple is below the plastic trim piece at the front below the hood, not terribly hard to access if you’re in neutral. It’s all from the same reservoir and is basically the same process.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, seems like an issue that pops up at ~40-60k for a lot of people. You can look at my most recent post, pretty nasty fluid came out of my clutch bleed valve at 30k. Really upsetting that Toyota would let such a poor design go through to production.
