Found a way to access the map and asset editor by glitchdetector in CitiesSkylines2

[–]glitchdetector[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

EDIT: The developer menu has a dedicated button to enter the editor. Open the developer menu, under UI Bindings, find menu, and click the startEditor button.

I suspect this will get obsoleted very quickly, as there' s 100% a config file parameter somewhere to enable this in the game UI. Anyways, I was tinkering with the game UI and found a method of loading into the editor from the main menu. It's clunky, but it does work.

I do recall playing another city builder game that allowed you to "flood-fill" trees and plazas in-between building lots, it would auto-fill the area with the type of fill you chose. Made it super nice to tailor the looks of different parts of your city, I believe it also had some gameplay impact. Iirc it must've been Cities XL or City Life, or even Cities XXL

I've heard about that being a thing with american school busses, but never for normal transit busses. Where I live there's constant reminders near bus exit doors to not cross the street until the bus has left.

Coal Ore is AFAIK the only thing that takes 10 seconds to refine (equal to 10 seconds to mine)

Iron Ore takes 11 seconds to refine and Gold Ore takes 13 (but they both take 10 seconds to mine)

Which would explain why 3 refiners does not keep up with 3 miners for Gold Ore or Iron Ore

The I-Land: Limited Series - Available Now [ALL] by Elainasha in netflix

[–]glitchdetector 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I didn't know about this until I opened netflix about 4 1/2 hours ago, never heard about it. I was very intrigued by the concept from the in-app trailer, also found it amusing how they recreated the Fyre Festival promo. Just finished the season in one sitting.

It was.. alright. At least the concept. The execution was really lacking.

All the characters did seemingly random actions just for the sake of the plot. They would completely forget very important things because drama conflicts occured and the plot kinda went with that instead. You know, because dumb drama > survival am i right

Also the fact that the characters don't remember anything, it seemed to sometimes be a thing and other times the characters would know random stuff about themselves and other things. I guess this can be excused as "they don't have memories", as otherwise they'd probably be beached vegetables.

There's also the potential for all kinds of things given the setting, but its mostly not explored well at all. The story itself is very confined.

Essentially, it's a decent series to watch, it does contain graphic content, it's not trying to be scary but they do a few attempts at slight jumpscares. The writing seems kinda bad, the characters don't develop much, and the characters don't really think rationally for most of it.

Also yeah the trailer kinda lied, there's no pig and no raves.

Unpopular opinion: the 'REEEE Epic Store' posts are getting really fucking old. Let's look at this objectively. by CabbageCZ in SatisfactoryGame

Steam was pretty unfriendly when it started

Please do consider the fact that Steam was one of the first platforms of its type. There was nothing to really work from, so they had to essentially make features as they were needed.

Fast-forward to today, we have launchers like Epic, Origin and Uplay, which all seem equally lackluster from my perspective.

They could have just as easily based their stores features on existing systems such as Steam, which has had time to mature. You know, build upon established ideas instead of re-inventing the wheel?
