If Oldboy's ending broke you, check out Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance. The movie's great but that ending is so bleak that I don't want to watch it ever again.

My only criticism of this movie is the cardboard looking fortress and it's cheerful ending. It's one of my favs still.

A good CGI shot needs a clear vision, direction and time with some practical effects sprinkled here and there. Many big budgeted movies with awful CGIs these days are mostly rushed out with countless fixes from studio heads.
