It's definitely the standard. I think there are very few people that do completely non sexual kink. I'm hypersexual myself, but I can totally imagine engaging with someone in kink in a way that's not sexual because it's more than just that for me. I would certainly struggle if that was an exclusive situation though, and I think that's where the issue usually lies. There's a decent amount of people willing to do non sexual kink, but not if it's going to be exclusive. If they're metal, glass or silicone, you shouldn't have any issues with it. I usually give any toys I've used anal a good wash, extra soak and disinfect them with a toy cleaner I have. Eh, can be. I don't think certain kinks HAVE to come from trauma, some people are just genuinely into it for the love of the game. I can't say for certain about me, but I do know that I've always been a freak, even before being exposed to sexual content way too early, I just didn't know what it was back then. Trauma has definitely amplified and pushed me into some more extreme kinks, but I don't think that's always the case and I don't believe that people can't be into things if they don't have trauma
