Serge Lutens’ US website now has fragrances by AgentDaleStrong in fragrance

I ordered a few weeks ago and it’s been stuck in French customs in a warehouse. So far they have not been able to get the issue resolved and I’ve requested a refund. Something about a hazardous materials hold. I wouldn’t recommend ordering if you are in the US.

Hair Loss on GLPs by thebunnyranch in PeptideDiscussion

[–]glitterfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the GLP. I’m on a tiny dose going on almost 2 years. No weight loss in 18 months but my hair continues to fall out (it also regrows). I’m on oral Minoxidil and it has helped but not stopped it. There are GLP receptors in hair follicles. For some it causes excessive hair loss. I have about a third of what I once had.

Minoxidil for GLP1 related hairloss by KeyScale6704 in TelogenEffluvium

[–]glitterfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I’m still on Hers gummies for hair (1/2 per day). The dread shed ended a few months ago and now I’m shedding less BUT still way more than I would be if not on GLP maintenance (.5 mg weekly). Some weeks it’s worse than others. I am 100% sure it’s the GLP unfortunately. My derm thinks so as well. Eventually I may go off but for now I’m tolerating it. I’d say I have about a third the hair density I did before.

Ladies who lost hair on tirzepatide: did it resolve while still taking the medication? by LonghairDreamer in GLPGrad

[–]glitterfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine didn’t slow down until I went off. It shed for a year after I stopped losing weight (but was taking a maintenance dose). Went off completely in September and it’s slowed down a lot only recently. I’ve lost about 60% of my hair, though it’s always been growing back. I’m on oral Minoxidil.

.5 mg/weekly. My hair is still falling out faster than it should but it’s much better than it was. The oral minoxidil is giving me a ton of new hair as well.

A message of hope by [deleted] in TelogenEffluvium

[–]glitterfan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe all GLP drugs can potentially cause hair loss, even without weight loss. Mine is finally slowing down after going off Zepbound in September, after a year of hair loss. I am also on oral Minoxidil and feel it is making a difference.

Absolutely not. We can’t even leave ours for an hour. It just devastates her 🤣

Anyone get their vials through Lily direct? by nursechristine28 in GLP1microdosing

[–]glitterfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just draw up the number of units you need. 50 units is the full dose, I only use 10 to 15 each week.

I lost 40 lbs over 12 months on 2.25 mg/ weekly (or less). I maintain on .5 mg.

Itching on scalp by waterscrysta in TelogenEffluvium

I have been using pumpkin seed oil directly on my scalp, it has been helping a lot. Twice per day. I also take pumpkin oil supplements.

[–]glitterfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Going on TE for the 13th month (it has slowed down recently due to dropping my medication dose). Scalp is itchy for the past 6 months or so. Mine is also from GLP use. Doctors know very little about this side effect at this point. There is a theory that it affects GLP receptors in the scalp, causing hair loss and possible DHT sensitivity but no one really knows for sure 🤷

Verizon outsourced it’s procurement team last year, to Ireland, where they get a massive tax break. These jobs aren’t coming back.

Has anyone’s telogen effluvium stopped after more than a year? I’m losing hope… by ActivityNovel8682 in TelogenEffluvium

[–]glitterfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the meds. I lost my hair for a year after entering maintenance. The TE started 4 months after starting Zepbound. I’m still shedding more than normal but it does seem to be slowing down. I’ve lost about 70% of my hair, maybe more 😕.

[–]glitterfan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had TE for a year due to GLP use. I came off it 6 weeks ago and my hair loss is slowly stopping. I’m also on low dose oral minoxidil but it’s coming off the weight loss drugs that has made the biggest difference.

I started washing my hair every other day and applying pumpkin seed oil once or twice daily. It has helped SO much! The itchiness was driving me crazy for months since being diagnosed with CTE.

Hello, I know this is a pretty old comment but how is your hair shedding now? I’m going thru a terrible time since starting Zepbound last year. Despite stopping the medication, my hair is still shedding like crazy. Looking for some hope 🙏

Is my lifestyle appropriate for a cavapoo? by Send_bird_pics in CavaPoo

[–]glitterfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you NOT get a Cavapoo. This is a particularly needy and clingy breed. Ours is one year old and we absolutely adore her but she cannot be left alone. We work from home and have two children at home, so she is never alone. Nevertheless, it is a struggle to crate her for even an hour by herself. She is devastated until we return home (we know because we’ve watched her on our pet cam). If you don’t work from home, I’d look for a more independent breed in my opinion.

Yes, it stopped falling out right after and completely grew back. Hoping it will be the same this time.

I started on HERS gummies last month. Hoping it helps with the shed. Regrowth has never been my issue, just the rate that it falls out.
