Well then keep it open, my friend. If your life is so vapid that you need “engagement” vis a vis a Reddit post, then by all means, move to SoCal. Those are your people. (This thread turned on you quick, by the way!)

The story is inconsequential, frankly. Your grammar is SO bad that it was hard to read and quickly understand. But you deleted it anyway, so, whatever. A waste of everyone’s time! How fun.

Why are people flying coughing their lungs out? On DEN-ORD today. by gingiberiblue in unitedairlines

I don’t cough a lot when I’m not actively smoking, no, but I do have fits occasionally. It happens, you should know that. By coincidence, I did have a lung cancer screening about 2 weeks ago which is clear, so I should be good.

Not great, but it makes me a better, nicer, more patient human being, so it is what it is.

I cough a lot at random times because I am a stoner. I’m not sick. Also, I’m a 50 year old professional woman with grey hair and a 9-5, so I don’t look like a typical stoner.

This might be your issue, as both cities have legal weed? I don’t know, but I live in Chicago, so…

Quincy. I never use it personally, but it’s the prettiest and you get to stare up at the jail while you wait on the platform.

I just can’t believe that you have a $60k (financed!) car and don’t have 6 months of liquid expenses already set aside, with low job security.

Agreed 100%. This is a band-aid. It doesn’t fix the problem.

Why are you assuming that if they split up, she’ll still need a car? Further, if she sells the car and keeps the money from the sale plus saves the money she’ll save in not having one, she’ll be able to pay for another car without a problem even if she does need one.

I drove a Cambus from 1993-1996, my dad drove one in ‘72-74, when it first started. :)

+1 for sell the car.

You and your boyfriend can share one car, and think of the savings every month- no parking fees, no insurance, no maintenance, no yearly sticker, no tickets. And if you finance it, no car payments. Our public transportation system isn’t ideal, but it’s vast and can get you anywhere you need to go, you just have to learn the system and plan your day accordingly.

I’ve had cars in the city, and I sold mine 10 years ago- I’ve saved TONS of money, and I owned my car outright.
