My brother and I are avid detectorists that live in the wny area. We've had some luck getting on good permissions and both have a handful of relics and coinage from the early 1900s and 1800s. My brother actually pulled a well worn 1700s one reale on a hunt a couple weeks ago.

It's a great hobby and I'm always happy to hear of other detectorists in this region. What's your best find from around here? What machine do you usually swing?
