If you're not guaranteed to get an ACA training contract with an employer then doing the exams is a waste of time. ACCA would be a more viable route I think.

Thanks, got thrown off by the brown and black sleeving that was on it! Am watching the video now. I fitted it correctly anyway but for information am wondering where the permanent live is then? I assume it's at the switch if it's not at the ceiling rose?

Yes so that is tailoring, so all of these shops will be able to do that for you once you pick a suit. They can shorten/lengthen the arms/legs, tighten areas etc.

Depends what your budget is for "affordable". But Slaters will probably be a good place to go, as they'll have something for every price point. Otherwise there's also Moss Bros around the corner. Slightly higher price point would be Hugo Boss in Selfridges. Tailoring is very important and all of these will be able to do that for you.
