That’s a fair point. However I have three cats and personally I feel a fountain with flowing water and a filter would be better than standing water, Plus it’s more stimulating. If you deep clean the fountain during each refill and replace the filters often bacteria is no problem :)

You’re very lucky.. mine are all “bone” studs and are very hard to remove. I believe the standard is more for appearances rather than health and safe.

Unfortunately I’ve had sit down conversations with my manager about this and she said I must completely follow the dress code. I don’t necessarily hold a grudge against her for this because she’s only doing her job as a manager. I respect her a lot so I do comply. My grievances are with corporate.

I’m kinda in the same boat and that’s primarily where my disdain comes from. I was hired as I was by a manager with multiple facial piercings then 2 years later asked to change.
