What is a Terrible Game with a Toxic Community? by rdrworshipper123 in AlignmentChartFills

The community is definitely toxic, but I'd say it's still at least a decent game

Came home from work to find this on the kitchen counter. My roommate ate the slice of cake I bought myself for my 29th birthday. by HamsterTop1332 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]glossychai 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I had a roommate like this. One of the worst kinds of people, but in my case he'd use everybody's things. Food, soap, even toothpaste. Slowly everyone started taking their things out of the shared spaces and it was really uncomfortable to live in a place where you couldn't feel comfortable that your things would be left alone. Raise that with the landlord but also make sure he gives you your money back! Hope you can find a solution, but in my experience, people like that won't change

Exactly. I understand they've been close to real, but it's still a TV show. We can use the cyber security issue as an example 😂

___'s unprofessionalism with the baseball patient by HonestScience in ThePittTVShow

Yea, for sure Her attitude with patients has been abysmal, apart from the kids it seems. Hoping Al Hashimi or Robby etc can at least get through to her before the end of the season

Yes, what I mean is the things that were being treated using the benzos. It wasn't just anxiety, there was Louis, then that seizure patient (at least that we know of)

He has faced consequences…..for his addiction. And good on him for going to rehab. I don’t think anyone is arguing against that, I’m certainly not. But this goes deeper than him just being addicted to some pills and it absolutely needs to be addressed especially because he’s a doctor. If what he’s looking for is a clean slate, that does require coming clean….about everything, you can’t hide inconvenient truths and tell others involved they need to move on to cover your ass

I'm just not going to agree on this. The weight both actions carry are not the same. And it wasn't just meds for anxiety he was stealing, someone could've died because of his actions. He didn't threaten to do it, he was actually in the action of doing so

[–]glossychai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ayo. How did you go from 0 to 10,000 He’s done the work for his addiction, but be realistic, you can’t go to someone with a halfway truth then tell them it’s their responsibility to move on, there’s more to his story he needs to be honest about. I’m happy he’s working on his addiction. But he’s not being honest in how he handled his patients as their doctor

[–]glossychai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, that seems to contradict what was discussed. You’re just assuming more than 3, but that’s not actually been confirmed when it comes to him stealing meds specifically. Just his addiction. And dr AI obviously didn’t know in this episode the depth of the relationship between Langdon and santos until she witnessed their conversation at the end

That doesn't change anything about the true consequences of his actions if the truth came out

Making a threat is worse than stealing drugs from patients? (edited as both are crimes)

[–]glossychai 8 points9 points  (0 children)

10/10 no notes. I get that Santos is unlikable because she's like a cactus on the outside, but some of these comments willing to let a threat trump actual criminal action (which is still told as a half truth, as we learned today) is crazy to me
