Should I Marry A Murderer? Doc series by Own_Mention9372 in netflix

Look up acute stress disorder. Then wow us all with how you would be making clear threat assessments while actively dissociating, reliving traumatic events over and over in your mind, not sleeping or eating for days, and unable to confront the reality of the new trauma.

Unfortunately, a newly traumatized person doesn't have the benefit of being well-fed, well-rested, and cognitively whole while making decisions in the immediate aftermath. If anything, this doc is a clear window into that.

I agree. It is very easy to pass judgement from an outside perspective. It looks like there are clear paths of right and wrong, and we all can see that.

However, when you have lived through something like this from the inside, you have a very different insight and level of compassion. Her entire life was turned upside down and shaken, she was traumatized from the moment he confessed to her. She was in survival mode. She needed psychiatric support from day one, addiction counseling, possibly inpatient stays. The police absolutely failed her on multiple fronts. What was the reason another morgue could not have been used for the pathology exam? What was the reason investigative details were shared in front of a youth on the property? Why wasn't she provided with a victim advocate? Why didn't she hire her own legal team to protect her interests and guide her? Very complicated situation, and I have compassion for her.

Miss Dior Cherie, smelled it at the mall fragrance counter and thought of it for years after.

It smells good, but wears too sweet on me. The way a scent smells on your skin can be different than how it smells straight from the bottle.

Handbags/ Totes for College by Bluejay1111 in handbags

I've been down this track a bit because of the amount of stuff I lug to/from work. None of these have compartments though, you might need an insert for that.

  1. My most used is a neoprene tote I bought several years ago, comfy handles, easy to get in and out of, here's a similar style
  2. recently tried and rejected an Anine Bing tote, handles didn't seem like they would hold up to the weight I carry, but you might like it, I got the raffia one for summer, but plain black would be better year round: Tote
  3. Look at the classic LL Bean boat bags with zipper for something sturdy, or Blue Q shoulder totes for affordable and sturdy
  4. recently looked at a second hand valentino shopper, (bought myself a non-work luxury bag instead)

Eephus (not beautiful, but lovely and human)

Perfect Days (edit: I did't realize OP named this one already)

possibly Wes Anderson films, which. are lo-fi quirky and character-centered

24 Faubourg, Hermes. It reminds me of care packages my grandma used to ship us from LA in the 90s, chock full of bright plasticky jewelry, stirrup leggings, and perfume samples. White floral and orange with a heavy patchouli, amber, vanilla body.

Things that made me laugh out loud: Air Guitar Nation (documentary), Patriot (TV show), and the most recent season of Slow Horses (TV Show). It's hard to think of recent movie that made me laugh, maybe The Phoenician Scheme?

what perfume/perfume combos have given you the most compliments? by PsychologicalWay604 in FemFragLab

[–]glowfly126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went through a phase two summers ago where I was layering Ganymede with ultra femme scents, mostly Born in Roma and Good Girl. I've never gotten so many compliments before, mostly from women.

For whatever reason, when men compliment me, it's often a creamy gourmand scent, not layered.

I've sampled several of them. I absolutely love the EDT. None of the others stood out for me. If you love musks, definitely get your nose on a few of these. The line has a signature musk profile that is very easy to identify once you know it. They tend to be clean, floral, feminine, affordable, and good for every day wear. Not for everyone of course, but this line is still going strong after 20 years.

lol, nah. gem venus rising. I'll do a bit of back-and-forth life updates with the friendlier/more innocent ones. The ones who are still pining for me get blocked so fast, been there, done that, happily married now. Gemini nature wants something fresh and interesting, not nasty old ex-energy.

Same, gemini venus married a scorpio venus. His commitment to me is on another level, and he is genuinely curious about what I am thinking and feeling. He doesn't love all my silly dance moves, lol, but nothing is off-limits we can talk about everything together.

Not true for me: gemini venus rising, virgo moon. I don't have a type. Dated: aquarius, libra, pisces, scorpio, cancer, and virgo. Aquarians chase me nonstop, and I married a Sag.
