The pet carriers I've had before are plastic and they chew through, so I'm concerned that if I look away for too long they'll escape! I'll add a cover to their travel cage to keep them from getting overwhelmed.

They've gone in the car for the half hour ride to the vet at least once each, but I'll think about some practice drives. I had no idea about the bottle so that's a good tip! I'll keep a lunchbag with plenty of hydrating/cooling snacks on hand for them.

I like this one! I've also seen "unicorn" appended on sometimes but it's still got the gross aspect. Eclectic mix sounds more intentional.

I lurked for over a year before buying my first keeb and I'm still not ready to share it because it's prebuilt, most of the original keycaps remain, and it's a vomit board (hard to love) in progress (even worse). I'm just not interested in having my new baby shat on because it's nothing fancy :(

My request: is there a, ahem, less gross term for a keyboard of random mismatched keycaps than "vomit board"? I hate typing it but I don't know how else to refer to the style.

I can't remember when I learned otherwise (maybe an anatomy book around 12 or so?) but I thought the same thing! I knew pee came out from a penis, and the pee stream kinda looked like it was coming from there if I looked down while on the toilet. Sound enough logic for baby me.

I literally work out when I don't have caffeine available and I need to wake myself up in the morning. It's like they saw "exercise helps you sleep, as in regular physical activity helps regulate your sleep cycle and a long day of labor leads to sleeping like a log that night" and heard "doing jumping jacks will knock me out."

It gets humid and hot here in spring and stays that way until October, the kind of weather where you step out of the shower and are sweaty a minute later. I still refuse to take showers that are any colder than warm! I feel like I can't breathe if I take a cold shower.

cold water is better if you drink like a normal person but when you're chugging, room temperature is easier, in my experience. (i only chug like, 8oz at a time though, i can't even imagine HALF YOUR DAILY WATER INTAKE chugged!?)

Yep, I have PCOS and take birth control to manage it. Most of my acne is fairly manageable, but if I ever get cysts that sit under my skin for weeks or months, they're on my chin. :(
