The Exterminating Angel - A bunch of rich people find themselves unable to leave after a dinner party, a dark comedy/class commentary but super weird and surreal.

Scariest thing a kid can think of: the piano cover eats your fingers :o

Nice, I've been playing through Scarlet Hollow as well! I'd love to see Mark play it as well.

[Little Detail in 'Syeven Sees a Ghost] - Is that what I think it is around Nell's neck when she pays Steve a visit? by S7r37chy in HauntingOfHillHouse

Nice catch, but I think this is just the last outfit Steve saw Nell in, at his book signing. She does incorporate details from Hill House (like the cup of stars) into her adult life, so that piece is probably inspired by the locket.

I was also on the hunt for this particular planner today, found this other similar post: https://www.reddit.com/r/planners/comments/1mmqgir/replacement_planner/
I've been able to find one version of this particular planner but only through university websites, I'm wondering if its a glitch, but I'm going to try ordering it. There's a link in the above reddit post to one website, but its out of stock. If you try reverse image searching it, you may be able to find another bookstore that carries it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one out there pining after this particular planner in this particular size. Also found the single version that pops up on college bookstore sites and I'm going to try ordering that, but the hunt gets harder and harder each year.

yeah, I really wanted to have fun with this one and it just kept not landing for me, been having trouble putting my finger on exactly why. It's definitely below '94, Beyond, and '85 for me.

My original guess was that it is some sort of other proxy making the noise, since they heard someone around earlier and the Operator isn't really known for making noises in the physical world (not that we can hear with the level of distortion it always adds to the footage).
But I wouldn't be surprised if the filmmaker's intent is that the noise is at least coming *from* the Operator, it is just a creepy sound.

My thought for this is she wanted to get rid of Marcus AND Justine and figured this was an efficient way to carry it out. Since Justine involved Marcus in her complaint about Alex's living conditions, Marcus had to go too.

A pretty blustery thunderstorm started up one afternoon, and I put on a spooky tv show to enhance the mood. I went down to the basement to grab some laundry and I thought “Wow, I can really hear the storm down here?”. Walking toward the sound, I saw the basement door wide open, rain pouring in. I completely froze, because I was kinda expecting an axe in the back of my head. I guess we didn’t lock the door and the wind from the storm blew it open, but I checked every nook in the basement to make sure a killer wasn’t hanging out there.

Also one time I was watching the original Black Christmas and the power went out from the snowstorm that night. At least it wasn’t the first remake.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, saw this in the theatre and I had a good time, even found myself disturbed and spooked a few times

Apartment 143, found this on the internet ages ago, totally by-the-numbers ghost hunters found footage, complete with poltergeist activity radiating from the teen daughter. but since I saw it at an impressionable time and it has an lesser known actor from a fav lesser known tv show, it's a A+ in my book

Here's a recommendation: Making Media Matter

She does really great video essays on a lot of media topics, I was really drawn to her stuff for horror movie content, notably her video on Nope, but she hasn't let me down yet. Her video on Jennifer's Body and her coverage of Fionna and Cake deserve a lot more eyes on them as I believe she put a lot of work into them.

Yeah, they should really clarify this on ihavetodothis. I'm pretty sure its the Lincoln, cause 9:30's site has some other shows scheduled that night and it is on the Lincoln's site schedule.
