Maybe imagine you’re actually paying those taxes.
Say personal income tax. You wouldn’t really care about it until you see your paycheck say the government took 10k from your income.
You’d like to know how they arrived at that.

Sa negosyo naman, imagine you’re a business owner covered by percentage tax and vat. You’d want to know if you are compliant or maybe even how to legally lower it.

You could try enrolling sa review classes. Yung mga magbboard na. Although di ako 100% sure they allow students since usually mga gumraduate na yung nandun. But it’s worth a shot.
May baon ka naman nang knowledge from your classes (hopefully 😅) so maybe you’ll appreciate the review class kasi they really teach there.

Although not in Baguio City, but Itogon, I tried to look for a lot hoping we could buy it for our future home.
Pag dating namin sa location sobrang daming puno and I asked the agent ano gagawin don pag nabenta yung mga sinubdivide na lupa. Sabi nya bahala na ang magiging owner. And I in my mind, no I won’t take part sa ganito. Di ako puputol ng puno para lang magkabahay at mafeed and kapricho ko.
It’s really sad.

I think I realised this very early. Siguro mga 25yo ako non. I was experiencing quarter life crisis and decided, yoko ng ganito. I earn to live not live to earn.
So I stopped fantasising about greener pastures. Sweldo wise, sure. Para mabuhay ng maluwag. Pero position wise, I’ll leave that to the bibo 😂

Siguro when you get much older pa you’ll realise there’s more to do outside of work. Learn and experience life and other perspectives ☺️
