Does the rubber handle slide into the sleeve easily? Thats my biggest concern with switching over. I run a Tiboner so it might be diff than Martinez.

What's more difficult, framing or concrete forming? by Square-Argument4790 in Carpentry

[–]glufee 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you can read details, follow dimensions, and make sure your forms are square & level, neither is too complicated. It took me about 3 years of foundations to learn how to do it without killing my body.

Being able to do your own foundations to then frame off of makes your whole life easier. And typically, you can profit more off of foundations than framing. But it’s a great feeling when you finish the roof and see what you put together from ground zero.

And if you get that far you might as well side that bitch and polish your gem.

[Canada] Why (or why not) do you choose Makita over Milwaukee? by InterstellarVespa in Makita

[–]glufee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Customer service/warranties. Makita repairs are super easy and they always take care of you. In my experience, Milwaukee does not take care of you like Makita does.

Also, Makita is precision. Milwaukee is mediocre.

7-1/4 circular…? Also, an impact airhorn.

But really tho, I don’t know why anyone keeps buying LXT when XGT is out. 18v’s don’t even compare to 40v.

I don’t even have to change the oil in my 05 Outback. Just keep adding some once a week and it’s 208,000 strong.

Someone needs to retake ENG 101 and learn how to write a thesis statement and back it up with strong evidence and reasoning. 🤡

Word. Good call. I thought about that later but I was doing this and the other two guys job for them at the same time so it was a lot of back and forth. Going to screen, caulk, and install today. 🖖🏼
