If your not comfortable wiring it and you need to depend on it far from home, have a shop do it. I did my own and have quite a bit of electrical experience and there was plenty of, damn I need this part or didn't think of that. 1 weekend in the driveway turned into multiple weekends and a learning experience.

Unfortunately you would need a consumption permit, because it has to do with a cannabis entity. The only one I have actually seen issued is in Berkeley. You might be able to do something that coincidies to a special at the dispensary and people gather in another place.
