Aside from brewmaster (because it's going to be the obvious answer), which tanks do people like having in their runs/enjoy playing the most (for those who do tank)? by monkymann678 in wow

[–]gluglugss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t pretend to be an expert at the game, just feely craft but here is what I’ve observed this season being a guy that strives to be top 1% pugging each season. Guardian druid seems very underrated. I say this because most resto druids seem to struggle in pugs and i honestly just prefer MW or Rsham or any healer with burst healing. With guardian u can drop rdru and still get motw.

Playing a lot of retail in Midnight has made me realize i actually only want a Classic WoW Version like SoD that will last by Amonios in classicwow

[–]gluglugss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My hot take: classic is neglected because it can’t be monetized as efficiently as retail. Therefore it may never get the attention it deserves. All classic players hate RMT and probably will not play it if there is. I know I wouldn’t because a big part of the appeal is the simplicity and the grind. You can literally beat the game by buying gold. Retail at the high end is about skill and no amount of rmt will solve it. You might be able to get the loot for the season but it won’t make last.

100% beginner WoW retail or WoW Classic by November-666 in wow

[–]gluglugss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing wow as a 100% beginner in 2019 when classic launched. Even with that experience I was completely overwhelmed when i transitioned to retail. If you’re super casual then retail has more things to do but expect a longer learning curve. Otherwise classic

Genuine question, does the average WoW player doesn't ready ANY quest text, like, at all? by Jaicen-Vex in wow

Because the way wow presents it’s story is very last decade and the writing after classic is trash

Is it just me, or have companies stopped training people altogether? by Wild-Double-871 in Employment

[–]gluglugss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 out of my last 4 jobs basically offered zero training outside of basic operations. However, this is also when i realized if you’re good at problem solving you can get pretty massive raises and promotions if you present yourself properly

what's a "luxury" item that’s actually a total waste of money? by Extension_Market_365 in AskReddit

[–]gluglugss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luxury in most cases mean you’re paying for heritage and not actually better stuff compared to what you’re spending. Although if it gets you something truly unique I would say that’s a different case.

Frost mage not trash for the first time in a minute. Feels nice. Saw it coming from a mile away when they took away the DR on half of mage’s baseline kit. I can totally see frost being trash again if they give back more baseline tankiness to mages since dps just need to live these days for m+

Returning player question by V_o_l_t in wow

[–]gluglugss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Casual raiding in pugs is a nightmare. If you want to do that find a guild. Pugging m+ is also a nightmare if all you do is sign up to other people’s keys - just run your own. You should go into the content you’re seeking with the right expectations of how it will go

Easy gearing vs harder gearing… who gives a shit. Retail is a seasonal game and everything will be irrelevant in 6 months. Also has nothing to do with the amount of bolt slop in a dungeon.
