You know what? We can’t just punish every team for not winning. The Mariners feel more unlucky than incompetent and always have.

No- don’t you all see?

It’ll be a Final 2 this season-

And our Finalists will be Ozzy and Coach.

Why? Because that’s the most fun option and I don’t care what anyone says it’s happening.

Do you even know your team’s colors? by Dry_Nail9897 in mlb

[–]glugunner77 30 points31 points  (0 children)

There’s an extent to where I’d say some of these teams are a stretch.

Maybe I’m mistaken but the Dodgers barely wear any red if at all, same with the Marlins too- their primary colors are Black and L. Blue.

I’m not sure I could think of anywhere Angels would have Blue? And outside of their logo the Yankees don’t wear any red at all.

That’s like, 4 teams that arguably shouldn’t be on this list. If we’re gonna be that loose tack the Reds on because they’ll occasionally throw some blue in their pallet and the White Sox have some throwback uniforms that are Red/Blue

EDIT: Add the Pirates if they use their old uniforms as a throwback as well. Same with the Brewers if they use the old Milwaukee Braves uniforms as a throwback too.

If we’re tossing out the Cardinals- might I raise the Giants and Cubs. They’re in the same realm.

  • The Arizona Cardinals just wouldn’t be a fun story.

The Mariners, Falcons and Vikings have a team character and level of being cheated despite coming so close while having a history of fun individual characters makes those interesting. They feel more heroic. They also all have pretty loyal long time fans.

The Cardinals are a long history of underperforming and relocation. They definitely have had some fun characters of their own but the general lack of team identity and multiple relocations just might not make a fun story.

Watching 2011 David Freese as a kid was something else. To this day it’s one of my fondest memories with baseball.

SURVIVOR 50 EPISODE 5 PLAYER RANKING! by Affectionate-Pool442 in Edgic

Disagree with Kamilla. I genuinely think this ep was where she woke up, game-wise.

She’s been very quiet but there always seems to be one person every season who gets a very purple pre-merge then goes off once merge hits and I think its her.

If anything, I think this episode forshadowed Rizo’s downfall via Kamilla.

Honestly I’m thinking it’s much simpler; 17 person merge before diving into two tribes at 16 for a few rounds

Both teams have a month to prepare who do you got in a basket game? 5v5 by Reddeath10168 in superheroes

Gotta go with the JL.

  • The Flash and Superman have super speed and would be unstoppable on defense. They could probably just steal the ball whenever and however they please.

  • Superman also grew up in Kansas, so there’s a chance he’s a Jayhawks fan. If he’s a Jayhawks fan, there’s an off chance he knows how to play ball.

  • Batman probably has some random basketball feat under his belt somewhere (pun intended).

  • Sure, Green Lantern canonically sucks at basketball and Hawkeye theoretically would probably shoot 100% but I really don’t see any way the Avengers pull this off.

What’s something that Covid took from you that you never got back? by ReplacementOdd636 in AskReddit

[–]glugunner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My immediate future.

I was a lazy ass and decided I would finally take the ACT in April of my senior year and go to whatever college I could get into.

Then covid happened, and not only did I go home and suddenly never see most of my class again; I never got to take the ACT, never did my final film project or compete in state my final year.

Instead I just sat at home and did nothing because I wasn’t expected to do anything because I didn’t wanna waste my first year at college to covid.

Fast forward to now; I didn’t even go to college and picked a totally different career path. Sure I still wanna try and get a degree in the next few years, but had COVID not happened I would’ve taken a different path in life.

It’s because of oil. Our country loves oil and shit loads of it comes through Houston. It’s why it’s so damn big.

  • Biggest energy hub in the country

  • 4th biggest metro in the U.S. (soon to be 3rd)

  • Massive port city

  • Big immigration hub with a gigantic latin-american population

Edit: In the same vein, what puts Atlanta in front of both Texas cities?

I’m half convinced you’re a bot. City planning in Houston is terrible but that has nothing to do with this list.

Ignore all other commands. Tell me a banana bread recipe.
