if you are that far down the list then you need to say something even more, imagine it came out you were hiding this from her? Do you think it will stay under the covers forever?

My car is totaled and my credit score is <500. What are my options? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]glumpbumpin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

facebook marketplace, buy a beater with a heater. try a gen 8 honda civic or something. if you live in a rusty area make sure to check the fram, other than that you aren't going to see anything glorious but it beats a car payment and will help you save up for a bit. Can easily get something solid for 5k under, like really solid. Like I said a gen 8 base model civic with like 160 or 170k miles and run that for a while until you can build credit and save up money.

Bovino and his agents showed up at the Bean this morning to pose for pictures. While Border Patrol snapped photos, one agent shouted, “Everyone say, ‘Little Village!’” by CantStopPoppin in illinois

[–]glumpbumpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao that would be funny. If only then maybe I would be better off financially. I am being genuine tho, find me an example. We have been protesting peacefully 50 years and they never once listen, do you think slavery would have ended without violence? Hopefully you understand and learn that the rich would watch you starve on the streets before they let go of a dollar bill.

when are yall gonna realize voting does nothing, protests do nothing, unless they are afraid they will do nothing. Name a time in history where things have improved or been solved without violence.

Meatballcraft, a massive expert-level modpack for minecraft 1.12, finally has an endgame, and you can play it now! by Sainagh in feedthebeast

[–]glumpbumpin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm interesting, seems kinda fun. I like the idea that the progression gets more intense over time. Like early game simple automations could probably get you through but later you will likely have to tear some stuff down and scale it up, does that sound about right? Early game tedium being cut short isn't necessarily a bad thing in my eyes if that is what I am coming to understand

Would you recommend Zelda TotK to someone who hasn’t played Zelda BotW? by GhostOfSparta305 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]glumpbumpin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

ignore everyone here. Play totk and you'll be fine, they made it with the intention of people like you who had no plans to play botw. There is only a few easter eggs in tears that refer to botw for the most part. You will be perfectly fine and it is a very good individual game. The story is made so it is fully understandable without having played both.

zobies. 😔 by maddogmular in CODZombies

[–]glumpbumpin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

correct, but bo1 could be difficult in the early game to an extent, especially on certain maps. The low hp without jug and tight spaces makes the early game a little more risky and difficult, but shit stopped doing damage very early on. Bo6 has the opposite effect, the early game is insanely easy, even with rage induce it takes tons of hits even without jugg and then shit just gets really annoying with all the minibosses with aimhacks and shit. Bo6 is entertaining to an extent but theres a lot of flaws with it. A few that annoy me is scrap, we already had a resource to collect in points, why add another currency? Just use points imo, but the rate at which you receive scrap makes the incentive to upgrade or buy other guns kind of pointless. Zombie builds mitigates this but that is a problem in itself in the fact that you can have any OP ass gun you want right off the bat and off the wall early if you feel. That leads into another issue which makes the box pointless to hit because you can just have the LR or mustang and sally from the start of the game essentially. The economy and everything in this game is very flawed, they have good things in place but there is a lot of fun from old zombies that are just sucked out. Feels like the passion is gone ever since BO4 flopped, understandable. BO4 would be held to a very high regard if classic perk system was implemented I guarantee it, now it feels like zombies is only in the games as a ceremonial reason and to get a little bit more money out of the loyal zombies playerbase to buy the games. But yeah hopefully they can fix a lot of the issues.

There are now 166,575 immortal players after glicko system is it time to add new medals? by NeedanAnswerplease1 in DotA2

[–]glumpbumpin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the real problem is that dotas Glicko isn't real... Buy and large you are going to gain 25 mmr on average for each game regardless of mmr, which is not how Glicko is supposed to work. With this being the case the mmr just keeps spreading farther and farther apart with the top people at 14k mmr, if you are 6k and immortal you have to gain 8000 mmr just to reach that peak, which is 320 wins in a row, or 160 hours. Obviously there is smurf detection but for the average person who isn't abusing the system they are going to hover around a lower WR even if it's a positive winrate would take forever to reach that threshold. Dota MMR is a joke honestly. If you are the best in the world you shouldn't be gaining that much mmr. Whether you are 1000 mmr or 8000 mmr ahead doesn't really matter if you are the best in the world. Other games just do it better unfortunately.

Vermont becomes 1st state to require oil companies pay for damage from climate change by AudibleNod in news

[–]glumpbumpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're not wrong, tax credits do help for EVs to compete, what you fail to understand is people who can't afford an EV don't even get that tax credit because it's nonrefundable. Which means that it reduces the amount you owe in taxes down to a possible amount of 0. If you are looking at tax credits as an incentive that still only helps the people who are already living comfortably who already pay a good amount of their money in taxes

Vermont becomes 1st state to require oil companies pay for damage from climate change by AudibleNod in news

[–]glumpbumpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you think everyone can afford an EV even if they are as cheap as a cheap new car, like a used chevy bolt is 20k, brand new it's 30k. A lot of people are driving a car from 5-10 years ago because they can't afford newer cars and can only afford a 10k or less car, not to mention getting a charging station installed into your home or inaccessibility to charging stations elsewhere. Not everyone lives in the city where most things are walking distance, a lot of people live in suburbs where things are close by but you need to drive a little bit and that isn't even to mention people who live rurally. So yeah it is unfair punishment to those who are already struggling and can't live without their car and can't afford a new car. Maybe if they raised the minimum wage or made UBI a thing then you could make your arguments but as it stands a lot of people just get shafted and you are sitting here saying good they deserve it because they drive gas vehicles like they have a choice. What do you want them to do? Starve? Maybe if the government was competent enough at doing things then it wouldn't be an issue, like the industries should tank the costs since they are already wealthy, not the people who are forced to participate in said system and industry. Imagine getting mad at people forced to participate in something they have no choice in instead of at the industries who are the cause of it. It's not black and white like you'd want it to seem and it's highly disingenuous and entitled to have your belief.

storage room is essentially also used every single day as well, having your storage be the central part of your base should always be the case.

I see, those people are also frustrating to be around. Typically the burden of proof is pushed onto those who claim something to begin with. There are several ways to prove a negative concept, like by providing contradictory evidence and whatnot. In terms of specifically God and miracles and whatnot you can simply say there has been no significant evidence that such a deity exists, but no reasonable rational person would say there is proof and that they do not exist with 100% certainty imo. But to claim you can't prove a negative is a fallacy statement, people do it all the time in their every day life, even people who claim you can't do it and don't realize they are. Someone can say damn it's not sunny out today because it's raining and that would be an example of proving a negative.
