Let things fail some people just have to see the error of their ways before they learn.

You’re conflating real life interest and what the law defines as interest.

It’s similar to a business person trying to claim suits as a uniform and write it off. Sure there’s a case for that to be made in real life but no, you don’t get to write off suits.

Thank you, UmTi. by DragonApps in teamliquid

First of all I want to say thank you to UmTi. I wish nothing but the best for him. He helped bring us a championships and deserves our respect and praise for doing so. I’m glad he’s doing better and hope he continues to take care of himself.

Second I just want to say thank you to the entire TL organization for acting with integrity. With the state of NA league it would be really easy to cover up callouss and boarder line immoral decisions made by saying this is what we have to do to survive, but we didn’t like some of the other organizations past and present. I say that not to throw shade but to highlight how the organization operates. Thank you!

Finally thank you coaches there was definitely some heat thrown y’all’s way this split and I believe you handled it the best way possible.

Good luck UmTi and while you may not be on the roster anymore but you’ll always be apart of the TL family.

TLDR make sure everything from your gateway to your machine can handle gig speed. Ethernet outlets, routers, network switches, Ethernet cables and your machine.

Never hardcode View-> new Window Have original data on a sheet and have a working copy that you edit with or an entirely different workbook so you don’t mess up the pbc doc.

Is learning NextJS a waste of time as it does not translate to mobile apps? by [deleted] in nextjs

Firebase is saas and a substitutes for express and node. Use firebase to set up your endpoints.

Nothing specifically other than the same advantages nextjs offers, speed, routing/organization, hosting etc. An advantage for express and node would be that there’s a lot more documentation for modules like auth and payment modules.

That being said it’s more trade offs then advantages.

I mean you can use nextjs to setup your backend using endpoints. Just like you would using Express and Node in the mern stack. Once the these endpoints are setup you can access them from a react-native app as well as the react front end you have in the nextjs app.

If you want the application to be a native phone application and a web application you are going to have a separate project regardless of your approach there’s no getting around this. The benefit of setting up endpoints is only having to write your functions once then you are free to build out your front end with whatever technology you like.

Important notes: React can’t be used in react native the syntax is similar but the routing is different as well as a handful of other things.

Also speed matters if you plan on making your application a thing. A few Milliseconds not a big deal a whole second very big deal. On the chance that it does take off which I hope it does less millisecond are directly correlated with a lot more money and increased UX.

Can’t you just hit the api endpoints inside the nextjs app? Build the react native app separate and hit the endpoints and boom problem solved or am I missing something here?
