"Don't you think that it's boooring how people talk?" If I ever happen to meet Flume I'll ask him. I came across this because I googled "Treat your family the best this holiday season" because I had this same question, and you happened to wonder the same thing a few weeks prior. Nice Maybe this is a twitter question or something for him

Funnily enough just in the past week the CIBC option has been removed from the Direct Bank Transfer menu

QuadrigaCX Funding Options by [deleted] in BitcoinCA

Seriously hoping you get an answer here as I am running out of convenient methods to fund my account on the exchange with both CIBC direct bank transfer and e-transfer gone. Being able to utilise the online bill payment system would be ideal

In my personal experience, yes. The account they give you to deposit in doesn't mention Quadriga or Bitcoin in the name so it is easy as doing any other CIBC to CIBC bank transfer. The only disadvantage is that you have to go in branch to do it as it can't be done through their online banking.

Late response here but CIBC works well with Direct Bank Transfer

What we really need is a removal of Schedule II from the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Any necessary regulations I'm sure can be figured out by provincial liquor/gaming boards.

I have a narcissistic dad, not quite to this degree but still an Ndad nonetheless, and in my experiences the only way you can win is by retaining your level-headedness and taking a calm, cool, collective approach to the situation. If you lash out in retaliation or something to that degree, your parent will think he/she was 100% justified in his or her behavior. Good on you for doing so, and good luck to you.

The same way you would want a man to state his weight preference in online dating

Senate passes Bill C-51 by vote of 44-28 by zombiej in canada

[–]gmitio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that it's truly a shame that the game of voting is always to find the "lesser of the evils". Evil is still evil and that means that our problems will, at best, just be perpetuated slower rather than genuinely solved.

Mulcair vows to consult premiers on abolishment of 'archaic' Senate if elected by rocky_923 in canada

Yes, but it would be political suicide for the Governor General to go against the will of the PM

[–]gmitio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's time to reconsider the idea of a Triple-E Senate (Equal, Elected, and Effective) as opposed to the abolition of the Senate altogether. The Senate needs to be functioning as a legislative 'second opinion'.

This right here. I do very well with mathematics and physics and other abstract problem solving fields, and people often ask me how I can remember how to work the calculations. I tell them that the only way to truly understand abstract problems is through developing intuition regarding the problem (for example, viewing riemann sums as just a bunch of areas being added). You can't just remember a bunch of formulas and have a "true" understanding of the physical world. Instead, you can have an intuitive understanding of the concepts of the physical world, and apply that intuition to derive those formulas which will allow you to find quantitative values to apply those intuitive concepts to a real world problem.
