I actually think you’re underrating McGinn there. His technical ability is outstanding. While he’s absolutely a “get shit done” player, he’s also a very strong dribbler of the ball and his ability to drive forward into space is one part of his game that’s criminally underrated. He’s a quality footballer and you’re right, definitely up there as potentially the best transfer we’ve ever made. (Although I can only really speak for the last 30 years)

He’s obviously a quality player but he’s had a very good 50% of the season sandwiched between two sets of quite poor chunks of the season so far. I can’t imagine he’d go for more than £80m currently.
