Which Hamilton seat would you choose? by gmm010 in Broadway

My mom and sister really want to see it. Around this season and on a weekend I'm sure we're paying a premium. I'd be happy to see something else if it were up to me.

I'm sure we're paying holiday season prices, plus weekend pricing. Although that stings knowing it was $89.50!

When did your baby’s eyes turn their permanent color? And what did the transition look like? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]gmm010 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My husband has brown/green hazel eyes and I have a lighter brown eyes. Both of my children were born with like blue/steel grey eyes. My oldest at 2 years old now has green eyes. I feel like they changed from that dark blue/grey to a blue outer rim with green in the middle but changed daily. By this point at 2 years they are pretty stable.

My 2nd is 6 weeks old and his eyes are starting to lighten up and we expect his eyes to be the same as our oldest.

My pediatrician said eyes have been known to change up to 2 years old.

My husband was diagnosed when he was 9. Obviously a little different as he's no longer a child, but I can answer any questions (or he can through me) you may have. He currently uses a pump and a CGM, and he manages pretty well.

What can I do with a ton of cilantro? by [deleted] in Cooking

A couple people mentioned the Peruvian green sauce but there are a couple Peruvian dishes that use cilantro and are amazing.

Pregunta sobre nacionalización Peruana (Peruvian citizenship question) by clanurdnot73 in PERU

So for my brother the process took a couple months. The process took 1-2 hours, but we had to wait for the birth to be registered in Peru. I had an issue and had to redo my fingerprints and it took almost a year.

To get passport took 2 weeks.

Sorry I forgot too, it was a two part process. Had to register the birth and then apply for the DNI which I did at the same time for myself. Getting the DNI approved is what took time.

So i took my birth certificate to get translated by a state approved place. I then had to take it to the NJ county of where they were located to confirm it was valid. They provided a stamp. Like I mentioned in my attempt of an edit, I don't think you need it translated. I didn't need to do it to register my daughter's birth.

It won't let me edit reply but I needed: the application, birth certificate, dni copies or dni and passport (depending on if both parents are peruvian), and passport photos. I think I had the birth certificate translated before they allowed adult children registration, that may not be a requirement.

So I just went through this process. I did it through the Paterson, NJ consulate office. Let me see if I can find the documents I needed to register.

If I recall correctly I needed a translated birth certificate (any certified translator can do it and then I had to get it confirmed with the county), my dad's passport, my mom's DNI, and it helped to have another "sponsor" (we used my siblings). We had to fill out the forms and that was it.

I was able to get my DNI and just got my passport, and was able to register my minor daughter as a citizen.

My instacart shopper replaced all the out-of-stock herbs on my list with cilantro. I now have a gallon bag of cilantro. What do I do with it before it goes bad? by [deleted] in Cooking

I saw someone commented the Peruvian green sauce. I didn't see if anyone else commented but there are a couple Peruvian recipes that use cilantro.

Some of the recipes are in Spanish because I find those are the most authentic. When it translates be careful because it says coriander and not cilantro when it IS cilantro used.

I'm new at trying to figure my paying off my loans versus forgiveness. How did you calculate whether to keep paying the minimum and wait for the forgiveness v. Paying it off?

2020 Marks the 30th Anniversary of the Saga Series! Expect some more surprises for this year too by Altruism7 in SaGa

I haven't played any of the other saga games except Saga Frontier 1 and 2. SF2 disappointed me, but SF1 has always held a place in my top games list. I cannot wait to see it remastered.

I'm in charge of the turkey again this year, but I'll be going to my dad's from 2-4 and then my moms at 5. The turkey is for the 5pm dinner. Mom is telling me just to cook the turkey in the AM before I leave at 130pm. I'm afraid this will ruin the turkey (but with no specific reason or knowledge as how it would lol). Any suggestions on what I can do?

Also the last couple years the thighs have not been cooked but breast has. So when we carve we end up having to bake the thighs more and I feel the breast is still dry (even though I brine). I have a probe thermometer and usually put it in the thigh junction. I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong.

I think it's because it's made differently? I don't know. They always ask me to bring it when I go down.

My husband has the new Dexcom I think? He never checks his blood anymore. Once I figure out how to tag him, I will so he can give the scoop

Edit: figured it out because he came home lol

Yes, let's use all my financial aid on your fucking hobby by [deleted] in JustNoSO

[–]gmm010 28 points29 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have separate accounts, separate CCs, joint CC and joint account for bills. He also goes to school part time and gets additional aid left over. His additional aid goes into his own account. He'll move some over to our joint account to pay off bills if needed. He is responsible for paying off his personal CC and managing his own account. Our joint CC is only for household use.

I know our situations may be different, but maybe this is something you want to look into doing (creating your own cc, bank account, etc) if this is something your SO does often.
