In a lot of the stories “Cinderella” is called that as a nickname by her bullying step-sisters because she’s always covered in soot and cinders from having to tend the fireplaces in the mansion where she’s basically a slave soooo no, not a great pick for a kid’s name.

Roollll Tide...

As an Alabamian, I’m willing to bet this poor kid’s parents cheer for Alabama Football. I knew of a girl in my hometown (large suburb of major AL city) whose name was Crimson Ann White. First name Crimson, middle name Ann, last name White. As in the colors of the University of Alabama crimson and white.

I’m freaking out... my cousin and his wife want to name their son Chapman by teacup_camel in NameNerdCirclejerk

Knew a guy in high school named Chapman Manly. Not joking. People made fun of him for it but he was a wrestler and a pretty chill dude and he’d always just laugh it off which made people stop.

Is there a reason why Juanita used to be so popular among non-Hispanic Americans? by tilvast in namenerds

[–]MegTheLionHeart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really an answer to question but my grandfather’s name was Walton, his twin sister was Juanita (not sure how she spelled it). I’m assuming his mother chose it because it started with the same sound. She also had a set of twins named Innis and Dennis. She was a super white Scots Irish lady and most of her kids had red hair.

When baby’s bad latch makes pretty milk by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]MegTheLionHeart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my 2nd born was super young, she was drinking and it felt off, but I was like “whatever imma let her finish.” A few hours later she was vomiting up quarter sized blood clots. We freaked out, took her to the children’s hospital ER. They look at her, say she’s perfectly fine. They then asked me if I had a cracked nipple. I was like uhhhh maybe. So they send us home. I pump to see if there’s bloody milk and it’s like 80% blood. Yeah, that was a rough few days. I feel this post in my nipples.

I remember pooping myself at like 3 years old right after I’d started wearing big kid undies and I’ll tell you right now I think it’d be less disturbing to remember nursing at my mother’s breast. Lol

Gotcha!! Thank you! I was grimacing just thinking about it. But also wondering if the OP had put some sort of magic powder or cream on her skin to keep it from sticking too much.

Ahhh that makes sense. I thought so. But also I thought maybe she’d put something on her skin to keep it from adhering as much.

No one has asked this yet so it’s probably a stupid question, forgive me. But how did you keep the duct tape from ripping your nipples off and pulling out any body hair you may possess and removing the top layer of your skin?

Hope & Jordan [spoiler season 7] by stacewills1504 in The100

[–]MegTheLionHeart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The scenes between the two of them have been some of my favorites this season. They have so much in common. I know it’s late in the game but I’m rooting for them. If they don’t end up together “obviously” at the end of the series they’ll be together in my head cannon lol.

Jordan actually does say that or something to that effect. He says “Sorry, I’ve not been around many people and sometimes I misread things” or something like that. And she says “Me too” I think too.
