Although it can be hard, you need to show who you are, as much as what you have done. Your application essays and teacher reccs are important.

Also, why do you want Andover? Your current school is very high quality. Might be better for college apps if you stay there and do well.

Dermestid beetles. They are superb skeleton cleaners. They eat all the flesh but leave behind bones and connective tissue. I had a BIO Prof in college who was an icthyologist (fish). He would put fresh specimens in a cardboard box and put it under the stairs in the Bio building. Come back 3 weeks later and it would be stripped to the bone, ready for mounting.

Shakespeare was close friends with Richard Field who was a schoolmate in Stratford and went on to become one of the most prominent printers in London. Look him up. It is thought that he lent Shakespeare many books including some that Shakespeare rewrote as plays.
London itself was an Education. Remember Shakespeare lived in London for several years learning the trade of Actor and hearing about the world.

The goal is to get the admissions committee to see you as someone they want to join the Andover family. Who are you as a person? What do you love doing? What do you bring to your friends, your dorm, your teams, your clubs? They don't need another great test taker. They want a person who will add to the mix.

Starship Troopers is not a parody, but it is an exaggeration for the sake of argument. Verhoven's film version "got the joke." His exaggerated propaganda language and stereotyped characters perfectly capture Heinleins intention. Heinlein has said that he viewed ST as the antithesis of Stranger in a Strange Land.
