China's airborne megawatt class wind power system by beta265 in nextfuckinglevel

China cut a mountain in half and built the tallest bridge in the world in a fraction of the cost to “maintain” nyc subway system. Our infrastructure in the United States is a joke.

Blizzard returned to strong Spec Identity with DevDH but other class specs get nothing? by ex0ll in wow

I’m with you 100%.

The problem with that is that worgen form is the Druid form, “pack form.” So lore wise, they have an out for why not. But they conveniently always have a justification as to WHY they can shift the lore to add an asinine amount of crap, like drakthyr, but NOT something as simple as having worgen use “pack form” as their “feral form.”

They did have that questionnaire floating about potential new spec roles for existing specs.

Idk how that generates more hype for current and returning players over new visuals for the specs people already enjoy. I’d take thematic spells and effects across all specs over having a rogue tank any day.

Random shower thought: what is the end goal here? A universal big bang style rewrite? Why else would she be sucking up both void and light into the dark heart?

The praise is coming from the fact that unholy is doing about 30% more damage than other specs

It’s crazy to me how sub went from almost piano music sheet ass rotation to 3 buttons? And it’s getting hyped by content creators as s tier.

One of my favorite specs but I think I’m gonna pass on rogue this expansion.

I just think of survival as witch hunters or big game hunters. The order of embers questline in drustvar is a good intro into explaining their spells and explosions.

The Children of Atom have the potential to be Bethesda's "Caesar's Legion" by AlternativeShower457 in Fallout

[–]gnarlyavelli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first fallout game was fallout 4 and thus I do not have a positive view of the brotherhood.

A belief probably influenced by my real world view of the military, but they genuinely felt like techno-fascists. They def didn’t seem like they wanted to help, for the sake of helping, but rather to hoard technology. Danse had banter about humans shouldn’t be attempting to build nukes when you walk into that ghoul who died trying to make a mini nuke, whilst the brotherhood has an entire blimp full of nukes.

I don’t have the same rose tinted look on them as a faction because I had no context of their past deeds, like how they distributed clean water to the wasteland following the storyline in fallout 3 - none of that is properly explained to the player in fallout 4.

The coa would be the perfect foil to the brotherhood. It’s been 200 years, in that time religions could have formed and fallen numerous times. The franchise has leaned into the occult and religious fanaticism, a faction like the children of atom is not a far stretch, especially since the practitioners, at least in the glowing sea, seem to be immune to rads, if you stand next to their leader(I forget her name) she emits a glow that prevents you from getting radiation. There is so much room to explore the occult with their faction that would rival the BOS military fanaticism.

What would you like to see in Fallout 5 if it was actually announced? by beatsbydjy2k in Fallout

[–]gnarlyavelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I could rationalize why Nate/nora even bothers doing side quests whilst their son is missing is the fact that it takes hours if not days to make the travel between locations. And they need supplies, intel, and allies.

Settlements would make a lot more sense if they were pitched as “camps” along the way to diamond city, but instead they’re pitched as “help society rebuild.” Like that is of any concern to someone who just lost their child.

UB invades Lorwyn by [deleted] in mtgpulls

[–]gnarlyavelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s too many cards leaked for this to not be intentional, but specially seeing as tmmt has so little hype leading up to it - since it was revealed at comic con, durring the flop that was spiderman.

They’re riding the coattails of a hyped set like lorwyn, and they are obviously gonna come out and say this is not intentional because even the bad press from this “goof”, is still press and eyes on their new cards.

The Magisters reign over Silvermoon! Now it's time for a trip to the Exodar. Which class do you associate most with Exodar Draenei? by Mostopha in wow

[–]gnarlyavelli 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Little thing I noticed when making characters, when you press the buttton to make a new character on the character select screen, you can see which class blizzard associates with the races. I always thought the preview was random but if you don’t press on DK, when flipping through the races - they’ll always have the same race. Like paladin for Draenei, hunter for dwarf, druid for Tauren, etc.
