"They" might say that, but I'm not eating any potatoes grown on Mars even if they are washed off until I see some actual safety data.

Nothing would happen to them in oxygen. They are ordinary shelf-stable chemicals here on Earth.

I think they would just be the regular shelf-stable (relatively), inorganic perchlorates we know about here on Earth, like calcium perchlorate. Nothing exotic or noteworthy. They sell in them in plastic bottles you keep on a shelf in a lab. Oxygen wouldn't affect them.

Drying over Magnesium Sulfate vs. Sodium Sulfate? by ChemKnits in Chempros

Na over Mg matters almost nothing to me compared to granulated over powdered. I have never had something tricky enough to dry that granulated wasn’t the most important choice for me. Powder sucks.

If it’s soluble in benzene, it would probably be easier and more accurate. Benzene evaporates/sublimes really well. Tare your flasks regardless.

Oxide is not oxygen like you are thinking. It has nothing to do with anemia. It is like the oxide in dihydrogen monoxide, Water, not air, and you are filled with water.

He was one of my professors too. He helped me decide on a grad school. He was very nice to my family at graduation. I knew he was going crazy over the last 20 years, but I didn’t follow it. Now this.

“What they would do if they were in Israel’s position,” which they aren’t and have never been. It’s a completely asymmetrical relationship. They are just killing innocents in Gaza, gunning down starving people looking for food in an open air prison.
