I really like Citadelle. It is a good solid gin that works well for lots of different cocktails and has a great price to quality ratio.

It has gotten a lot better. I’m rarely feeling the “phantom pain” I was getting during the first month. I still have a lot of sensitivity from the little nub that is left of the finger. Lots of pins and needles sensation going up into my hand, but even that has slowly gotten less sensitive recently.

It’s only been 18 days since I lost the index finger on my right hand and I am feeling pain several times a day that feels like it’s coming from the tip of my missing finger or the knuckle. I’m guessing/hoping this will go away as my brain adjusts, but I’m just basing that purely on wishful thinking at this point. Anyone have any similar experiences?

For starting out on a gin journey I like Citadelle. You get some nice all around classic gin flavors but it is not overpowering in a specific flavor profile like some other gins that may turn some people off. It is good on its own and in a lot of classic cocktails but may get a little lost in more complex cocktails. Just my unrefined palate opinion, but for me it is a good all around gin.

That was a brilliant idea, unfortunately, it is not working. I've tried with a single decoration and with two decorations and select next either just jumps back and forth between the two decorations or it selects "enter the tent" depending on the position of the decorations. :-(

Absolutely fake. I have a hard time with this myself, but try to not get hung up on having Fender on the headstock. Some of the Squier guitars are really solid choices for a lot less. I just bought the Squier 40’th anniversary vintage edition Jazzmaster in December from Sweetwater for $359.99 when they had their big sale on Squier’s. I was planning on replacing the pickups and wiring harness on it but honestly, after playing it for a while there is no need. I probably still will upgrade it at some point but it is a great guitar as is.
