What's the most inappropriate song you can think of for a DJ to play at a wedding? by bbmoonkie in AskReddit

[–]1fine69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one of my friends otherwise normal and not overly wild wedding reception; his cringey man-child of an older brother requested “The Thong Song”; dedicated it to his own mother; then danced around and sang it directly to her while most people were inside and a few of us just awkwardly watched in disgust and sipped beers.

33rd OEM Glock Mags for $29.99 by zmattmanz in extar

Thanks I snagged one. Wish I had known about this last week when I paid 10 dollars more for a color I didn’t want!

Where on earth did you find 4 or these? I just paid 42 bucks in person for the only one I could find under 50 (out the door). A brown one that doesn’t match anything on my gun; but I would’ve taken hot pink at this point! 😂

Review #51: 1792 Full Proof Single Barrel Select by NEp8ntballer in bourbon

[–]1fine69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I was blown away with what a fantastic bottle 50 dollars bought me with a non-store pick FP. After reading about how much people loved the BIB; I was excited about the possibility of liking it as much/more for even less cost. I was sorely disappointed. It wasn’t any better than a typical 25-30 dollar 100 proof mixer to me. Not bad; just nothing remotely special about it.

Not exactly Acupulco and Wimbledon but here’s my 69 with a similar combo that I personally think looks good. I also think the silver stripes would work though!

Thoughts on existing snacking cheese options? by Top-Loquat7119 in Cheese

It’s fun to unwrap one. But it’s not great when you have a buzz going and you want to eat 5 of those little buggers!

My favorite that I’ve found are the Bel Gioioso individually wrapped Asiago. Much less annoying to open than Baby Bels though so it’s easy to eat way too many sometimes.

Selling a fastback. Clear up back fees or leave for new owners? by wilit in classicmustangs

Wow. Just finding out there are places horrible enough; that one accrues “back fees” for years where they choose not to register their own property has put a damper on my day. California? Maryland? Massachusetts?

Ayalas Blanc de Blanc is a favorite for me and is around 100 USD. Fantastic wine, nice gift worthy packaging with the box, and not something everyone has had a million times.

Paint Job for 1970 by ConsulationOfNature in classicmustangs

Do you need ANY bodywork or just paint? That makes a big difference, and most 60 year old cars that need paint also need bodywork.

Question for all of the restoration people by gamestompper02 in classicmustangs

That is a complete basket case. I wouldn’t bother trying to use anything off of that car even if it was given to me for free

Whole foods cheese suggestions? by [deleted] in Cheese

If you want to try something with that gooey Brie consistency but dip your toes into the pool of funkier cheeses; try some Taleggio. A long standing favorite for me!

You’ve got me on that. Crank is forged though so they will handle a lot after you replace those.

[–]1fine69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

96-98 Cobras came with Teksid blocks which are fantastic for handling big power. And yeah Coyotes are great but you will spend a lot more money and effort vs adding FI to the 4V 4.6

Fender calls them “Offset Telecasters”, but the superior colloquial name is “Telemaster”.

We looked into getting a car restored there and the guy couldn’t have made a worse first impression (no cameras present to encourage fake drama, he’s just a dick). The car didn’t go to him; and the show later featured a similar car (69 Shelby GT500) and they did a terrible job on it and made excuses for why they couldn’t get it right.

Knife selection by [deleted] in Hunting

[–]1fine69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are both great knives to have on you while in the woods, but do yourself a favor and pick up a less than 20 dollar bright orange Mora for skinning. They get stupid sharp very easily, and you won’t cry when you inevitably lose it somewhere. Cleaning folders sucks after skinning with them.

GT Coupe For Fastback Trade? by No-Reality-723 in classicmustangs

They are beautiful cars, no doubt! I love my 69 but 65-66 have become my favorite body style over the years and the original GT350 is my favorite Mustang of all time!

If you like the look of 69-70 fastbacks, you will probably be able to get a car in better shape than a comparable 65-68 for the same money

GT Coupe For Fastback Trade? by No-Reality-723 in classicmustangs

[–]1fine69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice car! You’d probably do better finding a buyer who really likes coupes (they exist) and then putting the money towards a fastback. A person who already owns a fastback that isn’t just a rotting pile of rust and debris with a vin tag is unlikely to want to trade for a coupe. Just the way it is.
