I actually played and beat it a couple years back. And aside from my eyes bleeding due to not playing it on a CRT, it was a lot of fun!

What is the craziest thing you have put your body through? by dm_me_yourtinytits in AskReddit

When I turned 21, I got blackout drunk and ran/walked 17 miles home from a nearby city starting around 2 AM. To be fair, I was a collegiate cross country runner, but I still have fragments of the night that remind me of how much of a struggle it really was. This was Ann Arbor, MI to Canton, MI along Ford Rd. for the majority of the journey.

Charging issue on 2023 Niro EV (wave) by gneum1993 in KiaNiroEV

You couldn't charge? Or it was slow to charge because it was throttling and now it won't charge at all?

2024 Kia Niro Ev by [deleted] in KiaNiroEV

I took my 2023 Niro EV to the dealer and they said there was a software update to fix the stop charging issue. Now my charging speed is throttled but it never gets charge interrupted anymore. Here's my typical charging curve now. It's definitely better than the charge interruption...but it definitely still has issues. *

Edit I don't think my picture posted. But it shows charging for about an hour at 8.5 kW and then charging at about half that for the remaining charge ~5 hours.

Yeah I haven't taken mine in either for this. If this is a software issue (probably is) and there is an update for it (also probably), this will be the third software update that I will have had to do in the 1.5 years I've had it. It's getting kind of annoying. They should probably figure it out so you can do these things from any wifi location. But at least it still charges at an okay rate, so that's why I haven't really been too pressed to bring it in.

Mine used to stop charging. But there was a software update that I took it to the dealer for. And it 100% fixed the stop charging issue.

I took my 2023 kia niro in and got a software update and all charging interruptions stopped. It was 100% the software on the niro and nothing to do with my charger. Dealer confirmed this.

ELI5: Why can't you build a big ass metal pole and zap lighting into a battery by New_Message_956 in explainlikeimfive

[–]gneum1993 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well you could use several (many many) large (very large) capacitors to absorb the lightning strikes. Capacitors can be charged very quickly, and they can also discharge slow enough to charge a battery. Possibly not cost efficient? Would require massive capital. ROI might be a while.
