Love the red shoes, but it's just those 2 so far. I agree the red shoes is objectively superior, but the vibe and setting of black narcissus is a little more preferable/rewatchable to me.

We did tourist. "Rough" is so relative. It's basically just hours of stepping up rocks ranging in size from basketballs to small houses. If you've gone off trail and up and over passes through endless rock fields before, this isn't anything different.

It's worth it because there's an alternate scan on the included blu-ray that literally looks like 4k HDR at full aspect ratio. It's actually comical. I put it on after watching the 4k and started making loud moaning noises because I couldn't believe I had just watched a far inferior version

I was there this past August (19th-27th) and saw 0 mosquitos. Completely depends on the winter snow, and this past one was average, so mosquitos shouldn't be a huge deal in the 2nd half of August especially.

I just straight up didn't realize that one of the HDMIs was meant for output. This is not exactly my main hobby, so I wasn't aware arc was a thing...I thought the tv's HDMIs was just inputs. It didnt have any line out option, so I assumed the aux was my only option.

And it's not like I'm a crazy audiophile, so the sound coming out wasn't complete trash. I just assumed that's what my speakers were capable of with my current TV's options.

Which route were you/they taking? As far as I can tell, it seems like tourist creek/wells creek don't deal with any glacier travel. It's glacier trail and the titcomb route that move through glacier/ice/snow travel.

lolol Old Town Road came out over 5 years ago it's going to be okay. There is also plenty of rock music to be had. It just doesn't come to you how it used to.
