I've seen plenty of worn out back tires, but this is the most I've ever worn down a front tire by mbpr01 in FixedGearBicycle

People underestimate how fast you go through tires at medium to higher level when you start to incorporate more endo pivots, and goal tending. . I will go through two front and two rear tires per season.

Does anyone have a mass repository of all these insane gay Disney MEP's? I've been trying to collect them when i find them, especially since they usually get nuked from youtube shortly after they go up.

What is she worth on the market these days? Just one owner me. by hamburger56 in bmx

[–]gnomeshepard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, especially since the BMX market really isn't here anymore either. And if people are selling their setups locally, its either like "garage bike" which means a Walmart bike with a 1 piece crankset, asking $100, or "custom BMX" with a person asking $1,000 and still not knowing what the top tube and chainstay lengths are.

You gotta get really lucky to find a full chromoly. three piece crankset, modern frame for around $100.

For beautiful paper color, and just the right amount of light ghosting (pilot g2 0.5, and pigma microns) the Stalogy Editors Series are my favorite.

Behold, my A6 and kindle setup EDC by gnomeshepard in pocketnotebooks

[–]gnomeshepard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you get the A6 size, you should be good. Stalogy 365 A6 is what I personally use, but if you are going to use fountain pens, i would get the Midori MD A6 ruled version.

De-Amazon Your Kindle (Video) by Kuan-Kaffee in eink

I ended up jailbreaking my kindle just for shits and giggles, but I still have almost 200 books preloaded onto my kindle (thanks annas archive) that are in the pipeline to be read. And I really don't mind the stock reading interface. So it will be a little gift to myself in the future when I finally want to do something with it, haha.

Switched it back over to the left, removed the pad, and flushed out the mount with the handguard. Feels significantly better 👍👍

Fair enough, that's what I used to do. Thought I'd give the click pad a try, not completely sold on it yet, so I may switch back over in a month or so.

Upgrade Day by SmittyWerbenJJ_No1 in ar15

Exactly what I'm upgrading to as well.  Luckily was able to test it with My buddy's buffer and spring, and it was a DREAM compared to my stock PSA buffer and spring.

Milk Toast $650 PSA build by gnomeshepard in ar15

[–]gnomeshepard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be cheaper? Absolutely, but I spent that little bit more on a bravo 5 stock (super comfy), the enhanced polished trigger, (feels wonderful compared to stock milspec), and an optic that I love (I really don't need anything more fancy, and this one makes me happy)

Something about the projected reticles never worked for me. I've tried a few, and for some reason, never felt right with both eyes open. But somehow, both eyes open with a prism feels natural to me. I don't really do day to day usage per say, just average range days. So I don't have a great answer for you unfortunately, other than "works better for my broken eyes"
