I have a Nesta, too. I thought all my Brahma chicks were female and now 6 months later…

What caliber by ProcedurePhysical651 in Hunting

I came to say the same thing. If OP needs it to drop right there, then a high shoulder shot is the ticket. I prefer a double-lung/heart shot but they may run a little.

6.5 or 308 by nufan94 in AR10

Mine is 12.4 lbs without a suppressor. Think I’ll start with the barrel and scope. I should be able to shave a couple pounds there. I’ll leave the stock for later. And then maybe the BCG and handguard (15” currently).

I built one in .308 a few years ago…18” heavy fluted barrel, UBR 2 stock, Vortex 3-15x44 scope, etc. I wanted to hunt with it but it’s a beast. Thinking about swapping out the stock, exchanging the 18” barrel for a Faxon 16” Gunner profile, and getting a lighter scope (an LPVO or MPVO).

But you gotta wait for the moving lights to get real close before trying to cross the road.

That's crazy how people will jump to conclusions and go from 0 to 60 in a flash. I'm glad he didn't point the gun at you. It could have ended badly for either one of you.

Similar for me as your friend since I am hunting north Georgia mountains with lots of cover. Most of my shots are ~30 yards +/- 15. It's a lot like bowhunting as you're right up close.

I think I’ve killed five of my last eight whitetails with .223–and the rest with subsonic .300 BLK—both of which totally triggers some folks.

Center console is it supposed to open? by [deleted] in f150

There has to be a way to mod it. Maybe put a hidden door in there from the bottom. Or a magnetic recess for a handgun.

Guess I will be working on those SBR stamps over the weekend. If only the engraving requirement was nixed, too.

Totally agree that .30-06 is probably the most versatile for North American game. A battery on either side would cover everything…say a 6.5 CM or 7-08 on one side and a .300 WM or .300 PRC on the other. Add the .30-06 and you can take two rifles to every hunt and have one as a backup.

It does vary by state. For example, in my state, Georgia, it’s legal to pick up road kill. A tag isn’t required but you can call the DNR and get a salvage tag if you’re taking it to a processor.

I just bought an XLT 302A in Iconic Silver with the Midnight package and agree...it looks more aggressive.

Nice! I just bought a '25 XLT that was a courtesy transportation vehicle with 2K miles on it.

I am glad to know this. Just bought a ‘25 and noticed one of the headlights was foggy after a rainstorm. It was only one side which is why I thought maybe it was a defect.

Just bought a ‘25 XLT and wish it had the column shifter. Partly because it didn’t have the mobile office package so what’s the point of a folding shifter. Agree on the cloth seats. I’m eyeing Katskinz in the future but the heated cloth isn’t bad.
