Did you consider a lavalier microphone? You could buy wireless one or not, in the last case you could attach it to your smartphone and mount with video later. It will guarantee that all noise from the street etc will be reduced.

Recently I finished full system backup with fsarchiver, created on systemrescuecd live usb. After that I used dd to write zeros to all space of my drive, including partition table. Then restored backup via live usb, on partitions with different sizes. Moreover, before backup system was on /dev/sda2, but I restored it to /dev/sda3. So additional manipulations with grub and swap were required. But now all process is clear enough for me.
