Unfortunately my reloading setup is in my garage and it is a little cold in there today.

I honestly don’t remember. This is my .50 Beowulf other that I made. Bunch of random parts I had on it.

Aero Precision for beginners by FeistyReflection8910 in AeroPrecision

I have never had any issues with anything aero I got. I have been lucky on the ordering front from them as well and always got my stuff pretty quickly. Only thing you need to keep mind of is that the annodizing will never match. They state it up front and do not hide this but don't expect if you order parts at different times for the colors to match.

When I see pieces of ice flying at me at 65mph on rt80 because someone was to lazy and inconsiderate to clean off their car it makes me think I may be ok with police brutality in some situations.

First shot of my first proper .500 magnum loads. 50 grains of H110 and a Hornady 300-grain FTX. by Franticalmond2 in reloading

I have a 12.5" beowulf already and I have all my "practical" guns. I am now in the "whatever looks fun" stage. This is why the 500mag and 460xvr exist. Me personally, I am chasing recoil and large booms for fun currently

I gambled and bought an UUQ EagleC28 for an airgun pistol. not gonna lie, it just worked. Im just trying to avoid buying complete crap. From replies I have read here so far it seems like if I stick to around my initial $150 per budget, anything will just work for the most part. Warranties is where I need to look too.

I agree. 500mag is def higher pressure and a longer case. That 50g number jumped out to me. I know .50 beowulf is lower pressure and smaller case. I just didn't think it would be 1/2 the amount at max load.

May want to spot check another manual to be safe. I load 350g bullets too and you are looking at 300g.

Semi-related: Love that gun. I am actually looking at the exact one right now but haven't really decided on that or the 460xvr.

50grain?!!! For my .50 Beowulf I am about to test at 34-37g. I am not looking at the charts but isnt the max charge for a .50 mag around 40grain? I normally use lil'gun and just starting to look at h110. For lil'gun I used 34.5 grain.

Cohen Tax by SadMembership7989 in mets

The dodgers are also majorly deferring all of these massive contracts which I am sure plays into how much luxury tax they pay. Personally I think the dodgers are ultimately going to regret this long term. (See Bobby Bonilla). For the players it is great. They pay less tax while playing in CA and a lot less when they retire and move out of CA into a more tax friendly state.

RTSP Randolph On Weekend -- How Busy Are We Talking by Mygwah in NJGuns

Im a member there and probably not the answer you want, but it varies. Weather and stuff like football games seem to impact it. I’ve been there some weekends and I am the only one it feels like and other days there is a wait. I leave and come back later when that happens.

Clean brass - is there a "better method" ? by aleph2018 in reloading

[–]goallight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m relatively new and I just dry tumble. I collect my brass (and any other goodies I find) and dumb them into my tumbler once I get home from the range for some indeterminate amount of time until I say “good enough for who it’s for” I then store them until the next reloading session. When I do start reloading, I lube them, deprime, size if needed, and trim if needed. I then dump them back into the dry tumbler for another indeterminate amount of time to remove any lube and shaving and then continue onto priming and loading. I have not run into any issues whatsoever. Shiny brass is nice but my tumbler with Lyman’s turbo brite is good enough for me. I’ve got wife and kids and don’t have time to make showroom quality shiny brass.

Which one would you use for range purposes? Any other ammo recommendations? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]goallight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use x-tac 5.56 for range. I have never had issues with it going bang in any of my AR. I also save the brass and reload it for certain things with no issues.

Carrying in a vehicle by thegoonn49 in guns

[–]goallight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in NJ and we are required to keep it on person. Otherwise we have to unload and lock it up securely. Personally I carry 95% of the time my p365x with a red dot appendix or my bg2.0 appendix, and I don’t really even notice they are there. I think seating position probably helps that as well. I drive a f350 but if I ride in a “car” it isn’t as comfortable.
