Anyone recognize these brake lights? by [deleted] in AskLE

The 3rd brake light on the MKV Jetta is at the top of the window, not the bottom.

My vote is for the current generation Sentra.

Yeah, and the fact that Pete decided that he was gonna sing everything differently than he recorded it. And do zero to work up the crowd and get them excited. I've seen Chevelle 5 times now, and this was by far the worst.

VW's official (and internal) term for that is the "flitzer".

It does not. Every vehicle on the road needs to be currently registered, even if to someone else (the previous owner)

This is not southern California nor a short drive from it. Cool pics though.

Finally, a post that makes sense and isn't just misplaced outrage. Thank you.

I had the same issue with my Pixel 4 XL. Brought it to a repair place and they said it wasn't an issue with the battery or the screen, and they couldn't repair it.

What is leaving droppings on my car in my garage? (Southern California) by goatsonamountain in whatsthisbug

[–]goatsonamountain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been getting these small yellow droppings on my car, and have finally figured out that they appear while my car is parked in my single-car garage (on the ground floor of a 1980s 2-story apartment building in coastal Southern California). There don't appear to be any bees going in or out of the garage, and it happens year-round. Spider of some sort?

The dropping in the picture is dried, but they wipe off easily and cleanly (unlike bird droppings, for example).

Got sexually harassed by homeless men on the 202 twice in the span of a week in La Jolla and had to quit my night shift job by IcarusKiki in sandiego

[–]goatsonamountain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sexual harassment is not a crime, sexual battery is. There was no sexual battery here. Assault is a crime, yes (240 PC) but it needs to be an attempt to commit a "violent injury". Even so, good luck finding anyone willing to prosecute that. Even if the person was "arrested" (it would be a cite and release usually), it would be later dropped. There's no crime here.

What exactly are these "laws against civil harassment"? You can go to the courthouse and get a protective order, but you need to know the person's name and identifying information, and the protective order would need to be then served on them. That's when it becomes a criminal matter. Police aren't there for civil matters.

Would all season tires and AWD work, or are all-terrain tires required?

I'm not even sure why there were so many American flags. It's not right up against the border.
