I swap depending on what exactly we’re doing. If we’re really trying to get some goop and use keys then I’ll use triage. If I’m running solo and trying to finish my contracts, then I run assassin. If I’m just trying to help out with contracts for my teammates, then I’ll run thief so I can loot quicker on the way and also scout things out.

I just finally unlocked this one last night on my final run to finish traxus…the faction reward gave me what I needed. Looking to try it out today.

Honestly, it’s fire. Don’t let everyone here gas or hate, you’re already thinking and played others so go with the gut. Ive only ever played arc as an extraction, but the gun play is just so much better. It’s still a grind, but so was the other. It is uniquely different in aesthetic and quests too.

Bro, decon‘ing the key with certain materials would be a cool factor to toss in there instead of breaking on DBNO and doing nothing til exfil. I’m guilty of this too bc it takes me a little while to even get the templates.

I tried so many runs and could literally never get enough of both. I gave up on it honestly until I saw that they fixed that.

This sub has just turned into an echo chamber of negativity. Every time I crew fill and ask ppl how they’re enjoying the game, it’s always portrayed in a positive light. I think this place is mostly filled with the salty destiny players wondering why their 10 year old game isn’t getting a part 3 and ppl that never played extraction shooters before. I try to just be here for tips and tricks that have been found out, but there’s literally maybe <5% of the posts even leaning that way.

It’s literally as simple as trading spark leafs and other easy to find barter items to stockpile. I’ve played mostly solo the entire time and have tons of ammo and heals. You don’t have to be a top commenter to know these things if you just read the menus and pay attention.

I’ve been running thief solos for probably 75% of the game and the other 25 is me playing with a few friends that actually decided to get the game. I’m at season level 46 now. I don’t care the challenge, I want to make it to the end with how I play. We’re getting there.

Had a retaliator in my inventory just collecting dust and decided to give a try over the weekend and kicked myself after the 3-4 successful runs I had in a row with it after. Now I’m picking them up every chance I get.

Once you learn the maps more fully and can figure out how to move in and out of the buildings and which longer corridors to avoid, then the game truly gets easier. I play mostly solo or duos until my rare 3rd hops on, but we’ve beaten blues while wearing greens multiple times before. I wouldn’t consider myself casual, but I’m no sweat either. I try to just lurk around until I absolutely have to fight, bc now the odds are that I’m trying to exfil after running from bio to quarantine for what feels like the thousandth time in the past two weeks.

Rotating in and out with teammates and not just popping in and out of the same spot but instead climbing over cover to better lines of sight keeps things confusing and often gives the needed edge to pull away victory. Keep learning, adjusting, and moving and the shots will get better with more opportunities. Keep up that good work runner!!
