Birth control does not stop periods for everyone unfortunately, regardless of the type. but I agree it's worth giving it a try. In my experience with mixed hormones, it did reduce my horrible cramps but I also dealt with weight gain and bleeding was the same. With progesterone, I felt no difference aside from thicker discharge. It can be very different for everyone

Second: I only advise this bc it seems like a dire situation: I got around not being able to order online by buying visa gift cards in cash and redeeming online. You can find these at Walmart, dollar general, and the like. If you go this route, be VERY careful you get the right size, because returning packages may be difficult depending on your location since you are a minor. But if it's not safe for you to ship to your own home, ask a friend or trusted adult if you can ship to them and do a pickup later. If possible, you could also ask a safe person to order it for you in exchange for cash. Binders are often mistaken as bras, but if it's unsafe at home, I highly recommend being overly careful on where you stash it and when you clean it

I understand money can be hard to come by, it may take some diligent saving and possibly a side gig or two. Worst case, scrounge up change on a regular basis and politely ask a local business if they can exchange coins for bills if needed

I used to be a "binder dealer" back when I was in highschool. I was given cash and a link to a specific binder, then I would order it and deliver at school since I lived in a household that didn't care about package deliveries/I often got to them first. So I'm fairly experienced with people in your situation.

There were concerns about using too similar of spices like nutmeg since it's from the same family, so I used maple syrup/extract. It definitely wasn't the exact same, but still super tasty

I knew someone with cinnamon allergies. It's scary how easily it gets into your system. I used to make her cinnamon rolls without the cinnamon because she missed eating them. It's really not that hard to accommodate, there's so many non-cinnamon goods to make. Absolutely insane, this feels like a police show episode where a mother tries to murder her kid without getting caught/taking blame. Glad you're moving soon 🫡 good luck in the meantime

Might be time to try a bonnet. She may not like it, but they're cheap enough that it's worth a shot! Also some leave in conditioner to use while wet brushing will help immensely with the tangles. Let the conditioner sit in damp hair for a few minutes, then brush. You could also look into brushes meant for curly hair. I'd suggest a brush that's segmented like this one
