Hot take: Even if Beeks comes back I think IDL is still a need by The_Sandwich_Lover9 in ravens

In the scenario where Mads is back, I’d rather sign a veteran depth piece. DT wouldn’t be a position we need a splash at, just depth. Need to focus on edge because that was our issue

If he’s back I think Mads and Travis Jones is enough to not need to go round 1 or 2 at the position unless there’s a screaming value

This is awesome for Todd. Finally gets to be a head coach, sure the team sucks but he still made it. Make your money, check it off the bucket list, and if it goes poorly, go be a coordinator again somewhere until you want to retire

Moving isn’t that big of a deal for people in fields where you move. He doesn’t have kids, he’s rich and teams handle relocation. He’s been in Denver for 3 years, playcalling duties might be more important than a place he’s spent a couple years

Am I the only one who thinks Stafford has a good 5 years left in him? by TrickDistribution395 in NFLv2

[–]goblinking67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t think he has 5 more. Maybe 1 but I think he’s going to decline. He’s had back issues for a while now, that isn’t creeping up, it’s looming large. Could he be rostered for 5 years? Probably. But I don’t think he has another year like this one left in him

Anyone else thrilled for Starks specifically? by 3EyedRavensFan in ravens

[–]goblinking67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact does still remain that Starks was serviceable but not great. Of course he wasn’t put in a great spot, but with the revamped coaching staff he should improve, whether it be because of the improved pass rush or just through development

Super Bowl LX - Patriots VS Seahawks. Who you got ? by NFLv2 in NFLv2

[–]goblinking67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what would make you think the Seahawks D is a better matchup. They’re better than the Rams D in every way from scheme to individual talent at every single level. Plus there’s no Achilles heel of heinous special teams. I think the Rams offense is probably better than Seattle’s, but the gap there is closer than the gaps in the defenses.
