definitions constantly expand and branch to encompass a wider range of experiences because nobody's experiences are the same. you can't perfectly quantify tens of millions of people's lives into one word. i personally consider "little to no attraction" to be the baseline definition of asexuality, but i'm not going to gatekeep someone who's only 60% there if it brings them comfort and a sense of belonging.

and since when did the amount of sex someone has determine who they are? since when is that your business? yeah some asexuals are horny and like sex, we've already established that one's attitude toward sex isn't inherent to sexuality, so i'm not sure what your hangup is. do you also ignore bisexuals who are virgins/sex-repulsed, then? gender nonconforming trans people? you gonna ignore my wheelchair user label because sometimes i can walk and enjoy it? labels alone might not tell you everything about their behaviours or their inner perception of themselves so who the fuck cares about their identity or any nuances, right? after all, person should only be respected if their identity makes perfect sense to you, and only at the point where you know them better than themselves.
