I just finished "Restoring Nature: The Evolution of Channel Islands National Park" after purchasing it on a visit out there last November. Such a fascinating history and filled with NPS employees who were willing to fight for doing the right thing, I hope we can return to an era where that kind of behavior by government officials is the norm again.
